High-level army huddle briefed on recent incidents in Balochistan

Yeah, looks like we have a habit of showing you Indians your place.
Last time, your Abhinandan got lost and we showed him the way back and offered him tea. Now your naval vessel.
Don’t worry, we will continue do so in future too. Cheers mate.

How much damage do you think they will do?

The problem is, Pakistan is running before it can walk in this area

It is if Britain had everyone from the sub continent and Caribbean living there in the 1200s and they decide to colonise these parts. It would have restricted them and they would never have got wealthy.

Big bold decisions will need to be made and sensitivities should not matter until you can afford to.

Jahil mullah on both sides.. only education, ignore them, and walk away .. that is the best cure. If start arguing with them... they will beat you... you can't win.
I wish every Haider be like...You have my respect.

What are some of the steps that should be taken first and then longer term?

There are 2nd generation Pakistani-Afghans living there, so it poses a challenge. It would be unethical to deport them because they are now Pakistani by birth. I will take this as a willingness to assimilate so lets let them be.

Focus on all the refugees, visa overstayers, no documents and any illegals. I reckon there are over 6 million. Even 10,000 of them can causes issues if PA have to make a big decision and they rise up and it becomes the drone strikes in FATA reaction all over again.

Do you think had Pakistan kept its bordered closed after Soviet invasion and not taken in Afghan refugees that TTP would ever exist? Or zarb e azb had been necessary? would drone strikes been needed?

Zia was a mad genius however he was too aggressive in his approach and sacrificed the long term for short term glory.

Go attack Iran, shia won't be angry ... did you ever see Shia raised weapons in Pakistan? ..no never or do any suicide attacks or killing our own soldiers ? ... no never. Peaceful protest is the best way and most educated way.
You guys are so powerful, Pakistani shia can't do anything ...believe me .Even in Islamabad administration or our intelligence agencies failed to do anything.
The saudi virus that everyone conveniently ignores, the same one that birthed AQ and IS

Our system support the rich and feudal. Look at the next generation of Supreme Court judges, BA fail LLB pass ... SCBA is led by gangsters and goons.
Before Harvard grads used to qualify for CJ who published books on law and justice system . etc and now ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1..

This is the case with every institution.

The High Courts and SC still has some better people (intellectually), but it won't be for long. The current CJ has an undergraduate degree from Columbia and a law degree from Cambridge. Another SC judge has an undergraduate degree from Princeton. An IHC judge has degrees from Oxford and Harvard.

There are two problems. The first is that there are not enough of these people who have proven themselves at world-class institutions. The second is that even those who have often fall into the 'excellent sheep' category --- meaning they are so indoctrinated with Western poster themes of liberalism, etc., that they can't really appreciate that Pakistan actually needs a ruthless China-like model to get out of this quicksand. They are what Nassim Taleb (author of The Black Swan) calls 'intellectual-yet-idiots.'

no one dares to talk about it..

Exactly. Destroyed the entire Muslim world.

Now you have militant Left wing liberals and Wahabbi right-wing conservatives. Hardly any normalcy.

Yes yes, I'm fully including them.

They can single-handedly fix most of our problems by taking aggressive suo motos and throwing people in jail en masse.
Thanks to our political parties who also play a role corrupt the judicial system and forming Lawyers' forums to execute their political agenda and secure their corruption cases. Now upcoming CJ talks a lot about military budgets and revenue generating programs.
