IRGC Commander:

Hezbollah's Drone Could Penetrate into Israel Longer than Acknowledged by Israel

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Israeli officials lied about the distance that the Hezbollah drone, Ayub, penetrated into the Israeli airspace late last year.

"They (Israelis) announced that the UAV had penetrated 60-70km into the Zionist regime's (of Israel) airspace but the drone actually had a 400-km flight in the regime's sky," Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said Monday.

He stated that the drone enjoyed the needed technology to fly over Israel, conduct its mission and return home without being noticed by Israel, and the drone had already proved having this capability on many occasions.

Hajizadeh said Hezbollah deliberately directed the drone towards Israeli balloons to be noticed by its cameras, and added that the move was carried out for specific objectives.

He said Hezbollah and Iran have good data and information about Israeli balloons and the missions.

Israel sacked Commander of its Air Force's Air Defense Layout Brigadier General Doron Gavish after it was humiliated by the Hezbollah drone operation.

In October, a Lebanese Hezbollah drone could penetrate Israel's missile shields and - as acknowledged by Israeli military officials - reached the regime's sensitive nuclear center in the Negev desert.

The operation codenamed Hussein Ayub saw Hezbollah's drone fly hundreds of kilometers into the Israeli airspace and getting very close to Dimona nuclear plant without being detected by advanced Israeli and US radars.

Later, Secretary-General of Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrallah said the drone used Iranian technology, but had been assembled by his resistance movement in Lebanon.

Hajizadeh had said at the time that Ayub was an old production of Iran manufactured around 10 years before.

. .
Still Iranians or Hezbollah could not show a SINGLE picture from these drones. Obviously they could not picture anything. Iranian drones are only good as target practice for our pilots.

Well certainly your pilots need a lot more practice if they miss a subsonic ages old drone even if they use missile like python 4 . And they had to go so much near to the drone that they nearly caught in blast .:D

Actually because of very low speed and very small size they are hard targets for supersonic jets. One Syrian jet even crashed while trying to shoot down the Israeli drone in 1982. Yet we shot down all your toys with no problem. Thanks for free practice.
