Hezbollah gambles all in Syria

That would be a strategic stupidity, if they ever do so which i believe that they would not do.

Had they not entered Syrian war, it would have been different as they would be having political maneuvering space to position themselves as neutrals but since they have interfered, only thing that makes sense from political point of view is to see this war through.

Well, think of it this way:
With a war in Syria raging, their supply chain would be hampered. That'd hamper their operations in the region in turn. If Israel, or any country does strike at them, they'd be hopelessly outgunned. They won't be able to sustain their operations in such an event. That would reduce Iran's influence in the region. That is the reason why they are interfering in Syria. Many Syrian soldiers are either dead, or went AWOL.

Needless to say, if Hezbollah were truly committed to the interests and security of Lebanon, they should have simply merged with the mainstream Lebanese military after their civil war, and the Israeli withdrawal. It would had certainly boosted their already weak military.

I mean let's face it, that organization do not work for the interests and security of Lebanon, but that of some other country. Is that even supposed to make sense? Risking the sanctity of a small sovereign state?

Given that the end result becomes a US-friendly regime in Syria, and Hezbollah out of the equation, Israel can have more breathing space when it comes to security - their prime concern.

And as far those GCC states go, they simply do not like Shias for mysterious and unknown reasons. The horror stories in Iraq that we all saw is evidence of that sentiment. And it's even more severe than that between Indians and Pakistanis.
