help needed for my journey :D

hello folks, i live in UK presently temproraly (just student visa), i am planning a trip to scotland from england, and want to see its two mighty cities glasgow and edinburgh in one day

i know its winter and very chilly there, i just want to know if its the best time to travel there and is it snow falling there??

secondly, from glasgow i have to take bus(national express) to edinburgh at 7:30 pm, and my return, meaning from edinburgh to glasgow is at 9:15, so i wanna ask, as edinburgh is the most popular destination in UK, is the time enuf fir seeing the entire sightseeing edinburh

also i seem to spend more time in glasgow than edinburgh, so is it cleverness and not foolishness to give more time to glasgow than edinburgh, and this is all because of this sucking national express service(i dont want expensive travel by train), and please suggest me if the trip is not safe

i cant decide so im posting here to ask u geniuses...

There are good travel offers from bus coaches in UK. They give cheap rates including accomodation.

Even trips to Amsterdam, Germany, Austria all by bus and that too cheap.. A good season Paris trip can be between 99-150 pounds only for 2 days including stay. Just get a schengen visa and travel cheaply to all Europe. Look out for bus coach offices around.

so i want some guidance on the return journey from glasgow to edinburg and to glasgow again, please...

Then rail is the only option.. try national rail sites.

thats a point, but here its cold too , but scotland is colder though

actually i want a nice long trip, i love roads, and i have heard edinburg and glasgow are some of the nicest cities in UK, i also want a thrill of visiting scotland...

scotlant major cities in one day is not a bad deal either

in summer i will return to karachi :S i miss my dear karachi, i miss altaf bhai too (but he is in london )

i suspect maybe its not a worthy deal after all :S

if you love the roads than i am sure you like driving ... get a pakistani international license if this is your first year you can drive on it , get a part time job save up some dosh and buy a cheap car you can get one for as little as 200 quid. Driving is nice in summers its a pretty country you will enjoy.... also you can also go n see altaf bhai if you wish so .. he isnt far from where you are
