Maybe you haven't checked what we're actually getting:

Until you guys put the first Istanbul Class in active service and fill it with all the stuff you're making,Cakir,Fakir...and you manage to build all 4 of them and if all that ATMACA,Korkut,Kuzgun,SOM etc. are proved worthy enough,we'll see how the balance at sea is.

Listening to the salesman brag about TF-2000 and TFX and dreaming of 2030 world domination and becoming a "jet fighter superpower"...that's just hilarious at first,but becomes tiresome when he doesn't get the hint to shut up because people aren't interested in his nationalistic shouts anymore.

One thing I don't understand is why it took Pakistan so many years to buy a long-range SAM system.

I think Pakistan was at one point the only major military power in the world do not have a long range SAM system.

Now we are building one of the largest navies in the world outside the blue water navies while having a tiny coastline Should have bought more submarines instead.

First of all,the FDI will probably not be going anywhere alone.

Second,like I've said before,if you think our Armed Forces are not thinking of strategies to counter swarm attacks,you're making a mistake.

Turkiye has already developed most modern ATMACA and SOM anti-ship Missiles with KTJ-3200 turbojet engine to produce 415 SOM and hundreds of ATMACA Missiles

CAKIR and KUZGUN-TJ Missiles are so easy for Turkish defense industry
even Turkish RAMJET powered supersonic anti-ship missile when 3 FDI Frigates will enter service as of 2026 ,

SIPER Air defense missile hit the target from 90+ km in the last test fire ..

Turks have no dream but one of the best defense industry to produce 31 new Warships to modernize Turkish Navy

Greece buys FDI Frigate for 1+ billion Euros each

Turkiye to build 3 ISTANBUL Frigates in price of 1 FDI Frigate

Classic Turkish lie......

3.1 billions are three contracts that include:

• the three-year technical support contract,
• the armaments
• Sensors and processing systems(R-ESM, C-ESM, Satcom, e.tc.)
• Depot(spare parts, missiles, maintenance equipment, e.tc)
• Training
• the contract with the Naval Group for the construction of the three frigates.

So, the cost of a frigate, with full armament, is 720 million euros, as is also clearly seen in the price of the 4th frigate, if it is finally ordered.
I add that the price of the unit with navigability and basic equipment navigation is €420 million per unit as stated in the corresponding French program.

As far as Turkish Istanbul is concerned, it is still...being built, except of course that key pieces are missing such as e.g. the VLS, which means your mentioned cost is arbitrary and false.
