Heatwave Deaths: S&P Says Indian Among Most Vulnerable to Climate Change

Hong Kong is at the very southernmost part of China, near to the equator, and I thought we had very hot temperatures (going to around 31 degrees celsius in the summer).

But it's actually nothing compared to the temperatures in India, which apparently have reached around 50 degrees celsius in some places!

Even S'pore is hotter than HK, can't imagine how Indians can live with 50 degrees celcius especially if there's no air conditioning

Oh man I love the temperatures in Beijing and Northern China.

Except Heilongjiang province, that is just mental, it goes to -23 degrees celsius there.

HK climate really bugs me, but I should feel lucky. Everywhere has air conditioning.

Yeah it gets pretty bad in India, and problem is that this heatwave comes right before the monsoon which means most farmers are out working during day time which is much worse they choose to take the risk otherwise they will be deep into debt, government has taken some precautions in last couple of months where they have provided security and loans, but it is still not enough.

Average temp of harbin is around -24 during the winter, temp could go lower further north. I don't know about living in Beijing , it's cold during the winter. HK doesn't bug me that much strangely despite i'm used to EU temperatures.
