It said the prosecutor in Sistan-Baluchistan province placed Abdorahim Kordi in custody, citing a statement from the intelligence branch of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, the Islamic republic's ideological army.


Details on the alleged infractions were not provided.

Kordi had been named to his post in 2016 under the former government of moderate president Hassan Rouhani, who was replaced last year by ultraconservative Ebrahim Raisi.

Located about 100 kilometres (62 miles) from Pakistan, the Chabahar free trade zone was established in 1994, allowing ships to avoid the busy Strait of Hormuz.

Nope never have. Have said they find refuge there but that’s down to many reasons. They’ve been roving around freely in Pakistan as well until recently.

Increasing of Pakistani control over Balochistan not only benefits Iran but also it cuts off the foreign hands from our borders.

There was a reason that Indians once raised their voice in support for Kurdish groups. They find common grounds with Israelis and also the similarity between Baloch groups in this region with the Kurds. After Taliban take over, they can't easily use Afghan borders. As you said sir, these rogue elements might use Iranian or Afghan terrain and the mountainous areas of Balochistan for using hit and run tactic against Pakistani forces. But as I Remember well, Iran has allowed Pakistani forces to chase them to their hideouts. It was mentioned Pakistani special forces met Iranian forces on the border while both sides chasing those elements. I saw its video Clip, would share you the source when i find it.

You are insane to believe that Iran is supporting such rogue elements on own borders. But ok, i will answer you when ever you show me evidence of Iranian support for them.

On the contrary, our border guards were kidnapped and transferred into Pakistan which shows that Pakistani side of Balochistan was a den of terrorists.

Just a hint, Pakistan had abandoned its own part of Balochistan and Arabs under American lead abused this opportunity for years until just recently after reaping consequences of Sluggishness and negligence of Pakistani side, Pakistan started cleaning some rooms. Afghanistan is a safe haven of terrorists from spearatists to extremists. An other hint, you allowed UAE to do the same thing with Baloch spearatists which they did with Kurdish spearatists in accordance with Israeli policies in the region.

Zero evidence exists Iranian authorities have anything to do with the Indian spy. Anyone can enter under disguise with whatever secret intention in his mind in a large country. Iran has no stake south asian conflicts.

Unfortunately, Pak govt fails to realise the neglect in terms of development they have done on their side to their largest province. Having visited sistan va balochistan; i was really happy to see how progressive things are both in terms of infrastructure and upliftment. regretfully, it is very visible in discussing matters from people on the other side. Yet sistan is still most neglected province in Iran as well but decades ahead of what Pak authorities have done on their side. Hence the complaints of people are very valid; even with CPEC - it is the top elite who are milking it; what benefit has anyone gotten in that province.

Always the bogey man scenario - which is not right; first ask what is it you are not doing right that is causing these problems to surface.

Let us take just the tourism or basic necessities you need - schools, hospitals etc - it is a welcome sight to travel in iran.

That is because lack of interests from both Iranian and Pakistani government to provide full security there.

Historically and until recently both under the Shah and IR regime we have had a soft spot for Pakistan AND India. But this should not mean that we have to close our eyes to some nations wanting to stage cross border raids from our territory.

India is guilty of this and has attempted (or maybe done) this on several occassions.
The Pakistani side is right to voice their concerns and we have to be responsible to check that damn area. And warn India that they can not do that or our relations with them will be in trouble. Large swaths of Sistan is basically void of any control.

Government needs to invest much more in that area and move more investments, elite troops etc.
