The One Child policy only strict to city family, in China village it's relaxed or nobody care.

Im easy to get along and have female friends... but i only like smart girl who has the wisdom, i wish my family stronger & my child smarter ... she will manage my family property even from my parents ... so my girl must be smart & strong like her. If future we start our family business, she will be child's mother & my helper ... when i go work outside for months, she's the boss in family.

My mother expect my younger sister birth about May 1979, few month after China invasion to Vietnam in Feb 1979.
My family is ready to move Southern when the war is over.

At that time, every Vietnamese mother in the North has average 3-4 kids. The heroic Vietnamese mother has 9 sons, 1 son in law, and her husband are KIA or MIA.

Without limit at that time, but my parents stop at number 2, with Deng Xiaoping style thinking because Vietnam met many difficulties after Vietnam War, and Border Conflict with China and Khmer Rouge.
Now, we think 2+ is better.
