Have Proof Pakistani F-16 Shot Down, Says Air Force; Refutes US Journal Report

.
I say question 2 is meaningless as both nations will not come to conclusion. One will claim 100s of casualties and other will claim nothing was there accept the fodder for domestic animal. Question 1 and 3 are more important for you as it shows the capability of IAF to reach that distance for hitting the targets and come back safely and for no 3 Pakistan gives a handsome share of their GDP for breeding of terrorist.

You guys keep repeating this lie that IAF reached that far to Balakot. Unfortunately, your own resources have negated your claim. I have furnished that proof twice on the forum, I think I need to do it again, to shut you up.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Are you sure? Might have been the Khan Express.

Or may have been "Warhaich Tayyara", which commutes between Lahore and Gujranwala.

They must have also been damn eco friendly as not even a trickle of smoke was seen rising from the structure.

I have heard that these missiles are also equipped with air pollution control mechanisms.

.
Now it is India's turn to line up all it's Su 30 MKI and let Russian count each of them. Pakistan permitted all it's F-16s to be counted by the USA.

It is better for the US to close this chapter .
We dont want to embarass anyone .
If they push us too much we will release the evidence .
Ahm...cough... effing sons of the proverbials, I didn't know IAF has become so compassionate and such caring SOBs towards PAF after 27th, lol, I guess it happens after getting spanked in broad day light with propper fore warning as opposed to managing only a night time Crow killing panic run to the border, lol.

You poor guy, I feel for you trying to clutch at straws while popping up and down literally drowning in the puddle of lies that has dribbled down the panic stricken legs of a formerly reputable and once considered professional enough IAF that they downed a Pakistan F16 on the 27th.

IAF calims that it was Abhi Nandan's Mig21 that fired the missile and downed the Pakistani jet.

Well, guess what dear, all Abhi Nandan's Missile seekers are accounted for with the wreckage of his downed Mig21.

IAF will release that at the right time only to right persons .
Right persons only

OK, IAF will release...but then in a later post:

Releasing evidence means releasing AWACS intel gathering capability.
Not going to do that .

What a flip within the span of few posts, lol... very self explanatory of you and IAF.

. .
You found a saviour in that reporter, too little too late.
The only person that needed saving was a certain Wg Cdr getting beaten up.

There was no Sabre slayer and it was a myth propogated by the IAF after it claimed F-86 kills during a raid on Srinagar of which only one could be verified.

Have Proof Pakistani F-16 Shot Down, Says Air Force; Refutes US Journal Report

NEW DELHI:

The Indian Air Force today said it had proof that a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet was shot down in the February dogfight, as American news publication Foreign Policy contradicted India quoting unnamed US defence officials. "Two senior US defense officials with direct knowledge of the situation told Foreign Policy that U.S. personnel recently counted Islamabad's F-16s and found none missing," the publication says in a report published on Thursday.

In a statement, the Air Force said: "The Indian Forces have confirmed sighting ejections at two different places on that day. The two sightings were at places separated by at least 8-10 km. One was an IAF MiG 21 Bison and other a PAF aircraft. Electronic signatures gathered by us indicate that the PAF aircraft was a F-16."

The government had said that in an aerial duel on February 27 - a day after India sent fighter jets to Pakistan's Balakot to strike a terror training camp - Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman had engaged with one of the Pakistani fighter jets that tried to target Indian military facilities and shot it down before he was hit and forced to eject. Abhinandan Varthaman landed across the Line of Control and was in Pakistani custody for three days before he was returned to India amid attempts to de-escalate the crisis between the two sides.

The Air Force said radio intercepts proved that two pilots had ejected, not just one. Officers had on February 28 displayed pieces of the AMRAAM missile, fired by a Pakistani F-16, as evidence. But that, by itself, does not offer any clues on whether Abhinandan Varthaman had shot down a Pakistan Air Force F-16, as has been repeatedly claimed by the government and the IAF.

Journalists were shown the radar tracks of the air battle that took place across the LoC near Jhangar, which lies between Rajouri and Nowshera.

The radar tracks recorded by airborne warning and control aircraft show the presence of an F-16 aircraft in the vicinity of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's MiG-21 Bison. In the very next frame of the AWACS picture, eight seconds later, the symbol for the PAF F-16 aircraft is missing indicating what IAF sources say is a shootdown of the jet. IAF controllers monitoring the air battle on the AWACS aircraft were also monitoring the radio communication between pilots in the Pakistan F-16 formation. They say communication from one F-16 aircraft abruptly ended which they believe is further confirmation that one Pakistan Air Force jet did not return. However, journalists were not showcased a recording of the audio communication that was taking place on security grounds.

According to the Foreign Policy magazine, Pakistan invited the United States to physically count its F-16 planes after the incident as part of an end-user agreement signed when the foreign military sale was finalized.

"A US count of Pakistan's F-16 fleet has found that all the jets are present and accounted for, a direct contradiction to India's claim that it shot down one of the fighter jets during a February clash," Lara Seligman of the magazine reported.

The count has been completed, and "all aircraft were present and accounted for", an unnamed official is quoted as saying.

"It is possible that in the heat of combat, Varthaman, flying a vintage MiG-21 Bison, got a lock on the Pakistani F-16, fired, and genuinely believed he scored a hit. But the count, conducted by U.S. authorities on the ground in Pakistan, sheds doubt on New Delhi's version of events, suggesting that Indian authorities may have misled the international community about what happened that day," says Foreign Policy.

The report comes days before voting starts for the April-May national election. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top BJP leaders have been accused by the opposition of using the Balakot air strike, which was in response to the February 14 Pulwama terror attack, in their campaign speeches.

In an interview to India Today, the Defence Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman had said: ''We are definitely saying that an F-16 was knocked out by us and initially, the Pakistan Prime Minister claimed that two pilots were with them. One of the pilots was ours and returned as per the norms. Who is the other pilot?''

Pakistani military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor claimed that two IAF pilots had been arrested. One pilot is injured and has been shifted to a hospital, while another one is unhurt, he added.

Yes, even your own propaganda source claim one (Abhinandan) was sent to hospital and the other was unhurt (who they might've initially thought of capturing but was able to slip across the Loc.

Your own source slammed your comment when you claimed out of your r3@r that Pakistani "govt" claimed that "they" were sent to hospital and "one died". See how your own propaganda damages people like yourself's brain cells.

One lie necessitates 10 lies, and 10 in hundred, the end is either absolute humiliation and loss of honour or madness

About the F-16 count.

Please bear in mind, there has no official statement from US.

All we have is a quote from un-named sources to a reporter.
She is Pentagon corespondent you fool look her twitter account @Osiris
What world think abou Pakistan is a very big debate some day when free we can do that. But 1960s designed plane crushed a generation higher plane that too when grossly outnumbered and the worst part for you F-16 is the best thing you have got and nothing coming like that for you in decades to come.
IAF has a history of downing fighter jets who were considered to be the best of their time, got a hint "Sabre Slayer"
For IAF it was business as usual, just another tag and memories.
cut that crap of yours how on earth 60 era interceptor with no BVR on it was being shot down modern 4.5th gen F-16 equipped with BVR (AMRAAM C-5), you're blabbering without base @Rajeev_Anand :crazy::crazy:
You are debating missing of targets or dispute on no. of bodies but not on IAF went 100s of kms inside dropped the ammunitions and came back safely.
The biggest question is why ppl were not allowed in that building, leave it if nothing happened inside, but what army is hiding from their own people?
and few days later you IAF said that we didn't cross pakistani airspace but uses stand off munitions SPICE-2000, so whats the truth about that @Rajeev_Anand o_O
They themselves are confused which plane participated, first the chinese after many days reminded them that F 16s were not used in that mission and then after that ISPR said they can use whatever their resources. And not a single word by ISPR or PAF when our Defence Minister told that they know the name of the PAF pilot who was martyred on that day. Not a single counter to her statement, now they are seeking the help of an US reporter to come to their rescue.
Atleast Pakistan should acknowledge the supreme sacrifice made by their defence personnel. Personally I honour who brought the duty over his personal safety.
you guys just fcuked up strike package consisted of JF-17 and Mirages, F-16 doing CAP (COMBAT AIR PETROL) well inside Pakistani airspace @Rajeev_Anand :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

Yes as a long time reader of this forum there are some senior Indian members I really liked.

I must admit I am utterly disappointed in their shameful attitude.

It was a duel one side had to loose. It was a battle not war, thankfully.

At least be gracious in defeat.
