Has the Pakistani Army Ever Indigenously Invented Any Weapons?

Just curious because I am getting quite annoyed at Indians who constantly claim Pakistan army hasn't ever invented any type of gun or something. Wikipedia is useless, because all the Indians seem to have tried to delete as much information on Pakistan as possible :/

Im guessing your referring to small-arms, let's just say that a lot of POF's designs is inspired from pre-exisiting designs. There are indigenous designs such as the POF Eye, the POF PK-7, or the POF PK-16; However I suppose you could also claim that they are improved copies of pre-exisiting weapons.

There are other companies in Pakistan making their own weapons though, the DSA Trushot comes to mind.

All the things which are being used in todays war are inspired by the systems created in mostly world war 1 nd 2 after is the evolution of those products

Self-sufficiency is no doubt desirable but it does not guarantee victory.

How good & bad the armed services are has no relationship whatsoever with whether they use indigenous equipment. Germany lost despite having the best & most innovative armament indigenously developed. North Vietnamese defeated the might of the US, all with the equipment made in Russia & Japan. Afghan mujahedeen managed to throw out USSR with equipment donated by the US & Saudi Arabia
