Hameed Haroon makes a fool of himself on hardtalk

.
This joker of a journalist didn't have a straight answer for any of the questions.
I liked how the host said "you shouldn't put pressure on the army as Pakistan has big national security issues and you talking like this puts them under pressure". These are the kind of ethics you expect from a journalist who actually cares about the country, but here every single so called (awam ke haqooq protect karne walay) journalist consider it their right to say whatever they want against the state and army. Criticising army without unquestionable proof should be absolutely banned.

this fool literally used internet trolls as evidence of the military meddling:lol:. ISPR has said that they themselves have gone after and got rid of pro-military social media accounts that they deem dangerous. Nice try but these pseudo-intellectuals are nothing but clowns in suits.

Hameed may have discredited himself and Dawn but it is unlikely to change their toxic narrative. Pakistan needs Turkish-style media cleanup. This soap opera has gone on long enough.

For Dawn leaks: We demand concrete evidence!
For Military: ISPR is behind all the social media trolling! Evidence? My feelings. :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

What is the standard of media houses in Pakistan when this clown is the "CEO" of Dawn Media Group?

.
There is no interference in election, Dawn has no evidence just doing propaganda for Nawaz. Thank @Zibago for this share I would have missed a good show
No, once he was asked to specifically tell some examples and he came out that distribution of DAWN is hindered in Larkana. I felt pity on this guy, was talking baseless things

.
Who is orchestrating and where is your evidence?

I think if you go to the social media ,look at the trolls on the social media

@django @PakSword wtf

Where is your evidence?

I think that evidence today in Pakistan must be looked at through inference :hitwall:
@django @PakSword @BHarwana @The Eagle @Moonlight

He is owned in the name of evidence and proofs.

Haroon thought to be some kind of having tea gossip to malign Army and mentioning of Establishment or Army at some point; may attract much of anti-Pakistan attention and he would be able to pursue his usual agenda based upon Dawn history. On other hand, as reality met the occasion; Haroon was not just humiliated but so far, in my opinion, this talk show favoured us a lot. People must understand that in real world; mere gossips by media or some kind of question marked opinions does not count nor being taken as serious. Moron went on some adventure expecting to create a hype and sympathy though, in return being thrown out with all credibility whatever was left with them. Haroon had nothing at hand except the blames against Military and was expecting a welcome the way some social media proclaimed fascists used to praise Dawn/Cyril etc. Not just Haroon was unprepared but in reality, he had nothing to prove as such but was there so could at-least quote BBC in near future as evident medium of narrative and establish his claim; if by any chance would have gone unchallenged or Stephen did not ask him for proof.

I do agree with Stephen that actually, Dawn is creating threat by itself and then making a case against State while becoming a party to the moment which in my opinion; Dawn itself is the part of the game that influence the system/process to install own people. No doubt that almost every media house runs upon funds & handlers but still, there is a style & unique way of journalism to pursue sponsor's agenda but in our case; these traitors are all open out there yet only specific public is unable to see it.

Pakistan is only country where such media houses can brag & rant non stop for censorship but still, on the other hand will continue to insult, disrespect & malign institutes without any break or accountability. All in all; what really such media dons expect is; they want an authority so could drive state the way they want it and our policies shall rely upon the wishlist. In our case; literally, this journalism is nothing but a profession to earn money as much as you can and still be called legal no matter if one sells own state.

Dawn and many other conspiracy tales; are nothing but a reflection of one part of society that mostly loves to gossip; provoke people, insult state for own projection and gain foreign funds/sympathy yet never done anything for the benefit of People/Nation. Dawn might be preparing some propaganda stuff for local consumption; at least we fall for the bait quick enough due to no reason but anti Military thought, and will try to save their faces by continuous Social Media Team drive.

I can expect that in upcoming times, we might see the change where such foul mouths will be put in place they deserve.

turkey like crackdown is needed and NAB should check this jokers assets

What a dumb mother fuker. What an absolute kunt. He has been publishing against the state something NO journalist in Britain would dare to do!! Let me make this point very very clear.

No state would tolerate what Pakistani state has tolerated. It is obvious dawn leaks will be on the menu very soon and he is crying wolf across the world looking for sympathy and trying to use freedom of expression as an excuse.

Well dumb kunt even freedom of expression has its limits. All so called freedoms have limitations too.

Larkana is under pppp not under military rule. Who is this prick trying to fool?

. . . .
He was nearly in tears - got taught a lesson in real journalism.
That's the point we're making isn't it - don't run stories based on conspiracies or 'inference' or 'social media opinions'. Run stories based on verified evidence & facts. Make a reasonable attempt to get both sides of an issue, especially on sensitive & national security issues.
