RIP to the dead and a speedy recovery for all those are injured.
Why Bangladeshis are irrelevant and stupid? Why Sauds are killing Muslims?
Why Bangladeshis are irrelevant and stupid?
Why Sauds are killing Muslims?
310 deaths, 400 injured and number expected to rise.
The issue is that they are trying to accommodate more hajis, and every time it appears as if number of visitors around the world is increasing.Instead of making further adjustments from inside,it is much better that they work with it's expansion project @al-Hasani ,what is your take in this regard?
thanks
2 million is still a very high number. This is something which needs to be considered.Last time we have greater number of people and Sauds hosted them in fabulous manner. If number is not the problem then something else is,and for such purpose,we need to wait till investigation is completed.I agree!450 injured so far.
One can follow the news on KSA1 if you speak Arabic or on KSA2 which is a channel in English.
Here I found a link live from Makkah (KSA2).
Actually this year the number of pilgrims is not any higher than in previous years.
Since 2007 where the expansion project began there has not been a single stampede or any tragic event. It's too early to say what caused this tragedy but when you have 2 million people gathered at one place performing the last ritual of their hajj (symbolic stoning of the devil) such tragedies can occur despite high safety standards. As I wrote before, I am far from an expert on stampedes but it does not take much for panic to occur.
