He was probably arrested to make America happy- a promise to trump in return for him not putting Pakistan in his crazy immigration ban list.

maybe , and if that is the case, we once again dooming our country .. If there is substantial prove against him,than he deserve it but without proves his supporters will create issues ..

yeah....try telling that to Trump buddy. I'm sure everyone in the world is keen on cutting a deal for a terrorist. You are aware that even china was extremely irritated that you made them save his @$$ at great political expense. Lots of egg on their face. All that grief in the UN and it took one simple phone call from US to get Pak to jail Hafiz Saeed. If Pak is so indispensable, you'd never have put him jail even symbolically, because this is very very embarrassing for China.

Not really, you know we put Abdul Qadeer Khan into house arrest to .. whatever people say but it was for his own good, if Hafiz was put understand house arrest without any Proof that its not going to help anything , some people are more safe in house arrest compared to them going in public ..

Yeah those are two shining examples bro. One guy exported nuclear tech without Pak Govt approval, another guy who cares little that Pak actually has a govt., carries his own wars and foreign policy, holds your govt hostage at will.

for Hafiz, your Govt failed to provide any Prove against him, and if he is freed by Pakistani court than that's it .. same goes to your PM, who was freed by your courts ..

well some Journalist are saying that his life was in danger, so he was put to house arrest for his own safety , similar case happen with AQ khan .. plus in a way it make sense that Killing a person like HS will create a huge chaos in Country, cause of his thousands of supports.. first blame would Obviously go to India but if TTP exploit this opportunity for two countries to go to War, it will help them in Afghanistan and FATA areas .. they are on the run in Pakistan, and trying to reunite in Afghanistan , with such high profile Assassination the outcome will be worse than one expect , and other reason of his house Arrest will be to make India and US happy ..
