Go to United Nations web and look into Young Professional Program I know Australia has a couple of seats open for this program. I think YPP is the best thing for a young person, you really see the reall face of the world , You have a lot of opprotunities in UN its self to move around. I would recommend you to get a the mag ( ecomonics and Time ) every month that will open up a lot of prospects for you to think.

Well sir God of War, regarding my personalty i pretty much am a book worm (not to say i do not find athletics interesting). I read my textbooks within the first few days and through the course of the year i keep reading them over and over. Analyze, i like to economic and strategic(military) issues. My favorite shows on TV are news segments and business reports on BBC. I pretty much when watch TV fiddle around the channels that cover news.

Brother Sigatoka, i am from Pakistan by birth though have lived in the west for over 12 years. I have heard about game theory but seriously have no clue of what it is about. I will try my best to read the books you suggested. I feel the same about pharmacy but am double minded cuz of my mom. She is one so says that either there has to be a pharmacist or doctor in the family. I'm double minded!

If I can give you one piece of advice Janbaz it is this........Decide what YOU want to do and then go for it with passion. Parents mean well, but at the end of the day YOU will be the one who has to live your life not them........

For now man, i think due to pressure from parents i'll try to get into medical sciences like microbilogy etc and then take economics with it. That may change as i don't stick to ideas for long!

Looking at your aptitude description, above advice seems better suited.
I just wanted to add that you can help Pakistan better from outside as I feel our presence in intl. community can help the cause more.
I also support learning any popular language on the way along i.e. French, German, Italian or Spanish.
I support choosing technical field, can be Engineering or Medicene. I strongly support Engineering (major in communications) though Medicene have more prospects of earning considerable wealth but can be very adventure less (monotonos).
