GROWTH RATE INCREASES TO 6PC: AHSAN IQBAL

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says due to successful policies of the government the growth rate had increased to 6 per cent.

Addressing a consultative meeting regarding innovation, quality and entrepreneurship in Islamabad, he said positive thinking about bright future of Pakistan is being developed in the country.

Ahsan Iqbal said steps are also being taken to ensure promotion of public private partnership and private entrepreneurship in the upcoming budget.

Your own argument spins around you my friend. This is 3rd time Nawaz is in power and they are in power from the last 25 years in Punjab. Why the hell Pakistan didn't grow as it is growing now?

Now here is the fact.
10+ years of lost time in Pakistan's history is contributing back. While other countries (India, Bangladesh) were growing in the region, Pakistan wasn't! Pakistan's deserving and natural growth is now coming back. Its 6th largest population of the world and it deserves to grow as other countries.

CPEC is your catalyst. They have pumped in money and which in return is expediting 100s of projects, inviting more international interest in return.

Now Nawaz sharif;

• who freaking could not appoint a Foreign Minister in his entire time.
• a person who could not hold a single PPP person for prison
• could not establish peace in Karachi (Rangers did it)
• could not create an inquiry on election fraud where 35% of records are missing
• could not act against terrorists in Punjab and is blocking Army from acting
• is blocking investigation on Dawn Leaks where his daughter is directly involved
• a person who's vision starts with a road, end with a road

Alhamdulillah. Its great to hear good news.

How much improvement since PPP left. They destroyed this country. In those five years, we fell behind in every field. Terrorism and corruption rose exponentially. They sent us back 30 years

Karachi became a dump, target killing etc was common. They left, and Pakistan rose quickly

Please note, PML-N isn't the best, but between them and PPP, I will always pick PML-N.

Very sad that these are the leaders we get, but people will get the leaders they deserve

This is ridiculous. So you reckon a foreign minister is futile position? Really? When Shushma Suraj barks against Pakistan and gets statements from the world leaders towards Pakistan being a Terrorist Epicentre, your Foreign Minister is not needed? Why does the world has foreign ministers then? Why does USA and China has one? Even a broken country like Afghanistan and Palestine has one. But Pakistan doesn't need one because....?

Musharaf was a mother f!!! for not acting against corrupts of PPP. So you want to say Nawaz too is a mother f!!! as he too didn't acted against any of the PPP corrupts?

It's courts verdict that 35% of Form no.15 (electoral forms) are absent from the record. Election is only 65% valid.

Would you accept a similar nonsense governance from Musharaf? Same excuses and justifications if they were coming form Musharaf? If not why are you willing to accept this $hit from PMLN? State your standards. Tell me what should Pakistan as a country achieve in the next 5 years and we will see how much PMLN achieved it. Go on.

I wish somebody could prove me wrong but I seriously doubt 6 percent growth rate. In the last fiscal year the growth rate was 4.8% and the target was 5%. The forecast for the growth rate for this year was around 5.5%. Anybody on the forum can explain how did we jump .5%?

@Topic: I'll believe it when I see it, and what I want to see is, the debt going down, industrialization taking place at the same 60s pace (by industrialization I mean motor-vehicles, engines etc... not textile mills) so far, the current regime, although is better than the Zardari Era, it's still far behind what can be considered "progressive" and "sustainable".
