Grounded Boeing 747 turned into high-end dining hall in Karachi

I guess you have never been to such a themed restaurant before?
The point if:

1. ANYTHING that will over power the main charm of that place (in this case it is the 747) is a BIG NO NO!!
2. This includes any bright lights, ornamentation, furniture, wallpapers and even music background. People sitting there are not there to experience a posh dining experience but to eat in a restaurant made INSIDE a Boeing 747.

Even the basic theme of an aircraft or its previous interiors wasn't utilised at all.
The interiors here have in no way enhanced the aircraft or it's already dull interiors.
That which you see in the pictures are some bare necessities. This same setting could have been given to any urban restaurant.
There's nothing which makes the picture distinct.
I'm disappointed. I have seen better designed stuff from your country but this is very mediocre. I know I sound brusque .

Hey dont be sorry, it is not like you had any money invest in it, neither did i so its not a personal loss right?

As for the theme, you know what i am saying here. The main aim of this restaurant, or the focus point or what i may have wrongly called theme is that this is a restaurant in a plane, ANYTHING that will take focus away from that is a big NO NO. Those posh seats, bright lightening, ornamentation will kill the real fun part. I am sorry you do not feel that way but that is how i feel about it you know. That is what i am trying to say.

And what I'm trying to say they haven't taken any effort to enhance the existing interiors at all. Infact if you ask me, there was good scope for these ppl to have utilised the area around the aircraft too and not just the interiors.
These days even the aircrafts have good upholstery done. Those seats and tiny TV screens,everything which already existed inside the aircraft could have been utilised to create a superb looking interior.

Oh you mean the area around the aircraft and talking about the WHOLE PROJECT. That makes sense. Yes, that could or might be used. May be open up those emergency exists and use some space over the wings as a terrace or something. Not sure as i would like things to be very very basic!!
The thing is, we are not sure that whether this is going to be an open to public restaurant or a dining hall for ASF only. Once that is confirmed we will be in better position to judge it.

The one in India is not upto my taste.
An old lady once bought a tinier aircraft and made a house out of it. That's how much things can be changed inside an aircraft.
