I am amazed to see that Egypt now has billions of dollars to spend on defence when only 2 years ago they had bread riots in the country when they raised price of bread. May be they should also reduce the price of bread by half if they have too much money now. Does Egypt have any neighbors threatening that it needs so much arms Egypt is now Zionist's boot licker and guard dog of Gulf states.

It's probably because their fauji companies are professionally-run profit-generating corporations, unlike Pakistan's army-run businesses.

Lmao, Typhoons, F-16s, Rafales, Su-35, MiG-35

Egyptian Air Force is a shit show.
Maybe but no one knows why Typhoons.. still there might me many reasons.. like the Rafale Deal for more aircrafts has stalled.. and many other possible reasons.. but it not totally stupid..it might be to put pressure on France too..because the negotiations with Italy are mostly naval..

It is more like a nightmare for the ones who want to confront all these different jamming technologies, missiles, tactics, capabilities and much more.. this is the positive side of diversification..as for maintaining all these different platforms.. Egypt ha been already doing it with efficiency for the last 40 years..The only new comer if it comes will be the Typhoon.. but then it will be easy to train Egyptians on its maintenance in KSA and Italy.. Most Egyptians prefer more Rafale fighter aircrafts though .. but no one really knows why the Typhoon is on the table.. Still.. it is also one of the best 4.5 generation fighters.. so that is that..

nightmare for who? the closest rivals of Egypt are Turkey and Israel, Turkey has 200+ BVR capable fighters and a powerful economy, if these relations improve with US, which I think they will with recent tensions with Russia in Syria, Turkey will get an additional 100 F-35s, and additional 12 B versions for its LHD. Israel already has more than enough F-35s to pretty much wipe out Egyptian Air Force. There is no positive side to diversification, get a platform that is ahead of others and stick to it.
An Air Force with a 100 Rafales will be much more capable than an Air Force with 4 different platforms adding up to 100 fighters.
Another thing to consider Typhoons and Rafales cannot effectively communicate with Su-35s and MiG-35s

as for maintaining all these different platforms.. Egypt ha been already doing it with efficiency for the last 40 years

and you know that how? Egypt doesn't make the readiness of its air force public in comparison to US, so its pretty much impossible to know how prepared the Air Force is in maintaining such diverse fleet unless you are high up in the chain of command and actually receive such reports.

Rafale without scalp and meteor will be the same as the Egyptian F16 story.. so that is why Egypt has stalled the Rafale deal.... Typhoons can replace that and with good numbers too.. because Italy will give it is own made missiles..And the Rafale deal is not dead yet.. Egypt can goo back to order more after France is done with the Indian and Qatari orders.. by that time the French scalp will be available and the Meteor is not even a problem now.
As for Egypt's air force readiness you can check the number of exercises they do all the time.. that is a good indication..
Egypt has defeated Usrael fully backed by the US..with Mig-21.. mind you..and beware!

India should offer Egypt the newly developed Nilgiri class frigates that are under construction for the IN at various Indian shipyards

project 17A?
Yeah, INS Nilgiri is the first of Project 17A which has recently been launched and is currently undergoing installation of sub-systems and weapons. Six more are under construction in Mumbai (MDL) and Kolkata (GRSE) with one more

They're primarily armed with IWI-DRDO's MRSAM and Brahmos AShCM along with MF-STAR AESA radar which IN uses across all it's recently inducted platforms but we can integrate any missile and sub-system per the customer's requirements

Most components in the Brahmos have been replaced with indigenous ones with "seeker" and "booster" being the most recent ones and after MTCR, India has been inducting the extended range Brahmos which all use these indigenous components. We're also on track to develop a much longer range, Brahmos mini (for fighter jets) and a hypersonic version in the long run, with higher % of Indian components which could all be potentially inducted into the Egyptian armed forces while Onyx is a dead cow

While Egypt has Russian weapons systems like the recent orders of Mig-35 & Su-35, there's still a potential risk to face CAATSA which could be leveraged by ordering Brahmos. Also, Russia is keen to export Brahmos over Onyx

Egypt Eyes Russian-Indian BrahMos Cruise Missile

Egypt is showing an increasing interest in the BrahMos, a medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile developed by India and Russia. According to a Twitter report by Livefist, an Egyptian delegation visited the BrahMos stand at DefExpo 2018.

Egyptian interest in the missile began somewhere in 2016, the Financial Express reported. According to the Brahmand website, Egypt's Chief of the Armed Forces Armament Authority met with CEO the MD of BrahMos Aerospace during his visit to the BrahMos pavilion at DefExpo in Chennai
.
The BrahMos is a medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarine, ships, aircraft, or land. It is the product of BrahMos Aerospace, a joint venture between the Russian Federation's NPO Mashinostroeyenia and India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The missile has a flight range of up to 290 km and can reach a speed of 2.8 Mach. According to The Diplomat, the extended-range air-launched variant of the BrahMos, designated BrahMos-ER, will purportedly be capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 800 kilometers.
