Now things are different,there are some who have a theory about a confederation between Greece and Turkey. But it wouldn't be a real confederation,since Turkey has a population of about 80,000,000 people and we are about 11,000,000. My paternal grandparents were from Anatolia.
So were my maternal great-grandparents from my grandma's side. The majority of historical wealth modern Turkey has,comes from ancient Greek,Roman and Byzantine monuments. There's a bit of armenian,hittite and assyrian to the southeast I guess and the rest is Ottoman.

in 2020 The EU announced that the transfer of 6 billion euros of financial resources committed within the framework of the refugee agreement signed with Turkey in 2016 has been completed.

The resource is transferred directly to the projects, not to the government

That's a whole different discussion,but Turkey was among the main countries that helped the sunni rebels to become what they became,in 2012-2013 onwards. And now you complain about the millions of refugees you have in Turkey. And I understand you,they are a problem. You could have at least kicked out the non-Syrian ones. That would have decreased the problem significantly. There's Afghans,Kurds,black Africans etc.
The government's involvement in Syria destabilized the region and now Turkey has all these millions of refugees.
