As the world becomes multipolar, the greeks will worry more. I think Turkiye is waiting for that, war in ukraine accelerated multipolarity. Once multipolarity is achieved, Turkiye may take over those islands and EEZ, the resulting sanctions wont hurt because there will be other venues.

You clearly have no idea how multipolarity will change things. If anything, a puppet state like greece will be smacked first, because u were always under uncle sam's arms. Turkiye is way more important than greece can ever imagine, in a multipolar world, Turkiye will have a status of its own with both china and russia vying for good relations with Turkiye. The only way to contain Turkiye is to install puppet regime, and that is what the west is trying for a decade.
