GREECE occupied 16 Turkish Islands

What a logic,what about the 500+ years the Greek(Byzantium) were under Ottoman Turkish rule?

Merely an explanation.
Apparently the Ottoman Turks stayed on the mainland.
The islands are mostly inhabited by Greeks.


Still, sovereignity is determined by treaties, and Greece and Turkey do not interpret
the relevant treaties in the same way.

During the same meeting at CHP headquarter between Greek Ambassador with another Greek officer and CHP members in 2 june 2016,The Greek ambassador was informed by CHP members that Arming some ''Greek'' islands in Agean sea is against 1923 Laussane and 1947 Paris treaties, These treaties have not given the sovereinthy of those ''armed'' islands to Greece, and arming them means breaking those treaties, therefore Greece will lose legit claim on those islands. Besides occupying another some 17 islands and 1 rocks means a threat against Turkey, unlilke Greek Ambassador's claim that Greece expects a threat from Turkey.

The Frontex was informed about the situation, and they did stop guarding those islands, which means they admitted the illegal situation.

I am trying to find the letter, but can't can you provide it, since it's in english I'd like to read it.

Irrelevant, the reason islands are populated by Greeks is the history.
Ottoman conquests did not change the population significantly until the ethnic cleansing
of Greeks after they revolted post WW1.
Where is the Ottoman Empirenow, the answer show the relevance of the map.

A lot of Greeks still live in parts of Turkey. Those Islands will be ours. Nothing you can do about it...

I think you should read some history. Dont worry about the islands. Turkey do what need when the best time.
