Nah! Its all about % of GDP and forex reserves.Loans can be rolled over but only when the lender knows you have the ability to pay back.India recently rolled over some short term loans worth nearly a few billion dollars or will do so.

dude, forex reserves are compared with External debt. India's foreign debt is 1.7 times its reserves. pakistan's external debt is 6 times its reserves. That's what I was asking you to think about. Not the size of reserves..

And even by your comparison, India's population is 7 times Pakistan's population and its reserves are 27 times Pakistan's
