SSP killed thousands, overtook Masjids of other groups, assassinated peaceful scholars of Islam but were left touched. This is why many sunni groups have become active and MQM had alot of support in Karachi. The state never takes the side of peaceful patriotic people, the state clearly knows who the extremist are, which books they read or scholars they follow but no action taken, now TTP terrorist are being released. For the last 20 years Pakistanis have been asking questions why the terrorist are not hanged, why no action taken, why their literature not banned, why their sponsors have not been given a warning, but instead a peace deal has been done and they all being released.

It doesn't make any sense except that those who supported extremism, symphathise with them till today and they are the ones behind these deals, this is all backed by those who funded terrorists, their Literature since 1980s and before that,(foreign)

Erm, TTP has not acknowledged any release as far as i know since 1-2 days ago, they denied receiving any prisoners at that time. Not sure if there has been any update as far as that is concerned.

These people are responsible for the actual terrorism in Pakistan, they have been called RAW agents for decades and now are released. Double standards. If it was some poor people protesting then the government would have acted like thugs.

Their demands are not blackmail, but Hazaras wanting protection is blackmail according to the government...

The society is so radicalised that people can't differentiate between terrorists and religious people anymore. The barometer for what is considered extreme is completely skewed.

There is a vein of extremism running through society. Whether it's TLP, Taliban or TTP - they have mass support.

The people are so over-saturated with religious propaganda, they have no idea where the line is anymore. If one person hates Wahhabis, he will have a soft spot for Irani mullahs.

Killing innocent people, wilfully targeting children or killing people based on hearsay is considered a redline in normal societies but in Pakistan you will find mass justification for all these crimes.

People are so desperate against corruption that they will consider any option - but desperate people make terrible choices and Pak society will pay heavily in the long run.

Government staying short of denial does not warrant the walkover. Pakistan's security sources also falls under the Government of Pakistan.
