I've criticized the role of Iran (and Saudi Arabia) in Pakistan. But I have been realizing that there is real sectarian hatred against Pakistani Shias by a few Pakistani members. Pakistani Shias are the most tolerant people, they have been at the brunt of terrorism by Saudi/Qatar inspired ideological nuts that label Shias as kafirs and infidels.

Pakistani Shias have always worked within the Pakistani constitution and framework. They have never taken up arms and protested violently against the state. If someone else were in their shoes, they would have taken up arms a long time ago. Pakistan has 20-25% of its population as Shia, the second largest Shia population in the world after Iran. We are proud Pakistanis, Pakistan is our homeland, and we would never abandon it. We will defend it from all threats.

If this Islamic coalition fights only a particular sect in the Middle East, then Raheel Sharif should withdraw from his post, to preserve his own legacy.

The problem is hypocrisy and arrogance of some shias over here...When Syrians were getting butchered, with the help of Iranians and Assad....many Pakistani organizations started calling to go in Syria and save Syrians but we as a state decide not to....everyone accepted that and respected decision....Now, if we have decided to become head of this alliance, the parties not in favor of this decision, should also accept that instead of threatening in subliminal voice....

Pakistan has killed sunni extremists...Pakistan won't do injustice when it comes to Shia extremists as well...
