It's not about stability. It's about ruling. She created chaos from 2013 to 2015. But she did massacre in her 2001 - 2006 regime. It is all about the heavily enforced political stability which Hasina enjoys so that she can implement over invoiced projects. She never provided this stability to her counterparts while in the opposition even though her counterparts were unable to pursue Gestapo model like her. Half of the year, the whole country used to be paralysed by her anti-government activism. Except some rosy economic numbers, Hasina's rule is more bloody, corrupt and brutal than anyone in BD history. The evidence are everywhere. Read independent corruption and human rights reports which can only be ignored by inhuman minds.

Same can be said for Ershad too. What if I say that there was no unsurp in 1990 but all were drama? Will you believe me? You won't believe I know. Even it's a possibility that I will be punished by govt.

Ershad was no less popular than our two lady but got no more than 37 seats after a period of time. 1986 election was legal as biggest party AL participated and lost in that election won 76 seats. Ershad got 153 seat. So according to this calculation I would say that Ershad can get 153 seat in a free and fair election as all major parties participated in that election other than newly founded puny BNP of that time.

So in reality no single election was fair in bangladesh. Because Bengalis always proved to be very useless in crucial moment.
