Very good and solid points. I do wonder sometimes if a management consulting company make a through review of the current setup of the political landscape, how much dollars could be saved and how many ppl could be layed off as unnecessary.

Reasonable, but the issue is it can't implemented. We as a nation have become lazy. If implemented there will be riots and chaos. Everyone says, government needs to fix or privatize the intuitions which are at loss.

Fixing means kicking out the patwaris and the haramkhoors, who do jack shiat and get a pay check. Everyone knows why people go after government jobs, because uss me kaam nahi karna parta. Just look at the example of PTV, when IK first came they were planning to re-organize PTV, but what did we get, we saw protests from the employees. I don't exactly know whats the situation with PIA, but I am assuming its chief's arms are also getting twisted because of the same reason. Fixing this country is way too hard, need a strong visionary charismatic leader like Quaid e Azam. IK falls short on every metric, you just saw him going after tax evaders from business community, and what did happen? From 2018 to 2019 the PSX tanked from 40k points to 29k points, thats the power of blackmail. It started to normalize and go back to 40k points after the big guns had meeting with COAS. And only after complete assurance did PSX started to gain points and momentum.

we are now effectively in an economic recession with sub 2 percent growth and shrinking industrial production.

3. there is social unrest given massive unemployment and inflation . ppl are getting laid off, even white collar ones
