The Turkish folks feel little happy when fighting in "seven fronts"....I feel Turkey is involved at too many fronts with complex alliances against it and thus seems isolated.Turkey needs an ally, a country that can pitch in militarily and politically or an alliance of few countries.
Yes but currently there’s no ally with such description pakistan would be good military partner but due to economic depence(IMF saudis) can’t enter into libyan/syrian/ME adventurism on the other side there is qatar at least for now proven wealthy ally but without real military powerI feel Turkey is involved at too many fronts with complex alliances against it and thus seems isolated.Turkey needs an ally, a country that can pitch in militarily and politically or an alliance of few countries.

Malaysia is very friendly towards Turkey but still lacks the military and economic power
Algeria has good military but prefers to be neutral cause it’s economically dependent on europe....
Not taking side IS taking side...Pakistan though militarily strong can never use it in muslim conflicts, we have relations with all muslims and would prefer to be the one to talk n bring peace.
The next best option as you suggested is Malaysia. It can play a really vital role. Both Qatar and Malaysia are financially strong, if Malaysia develops a stronger military, the trio can dominate muslim world.
The other reality is Erdogan is not as famous as used to be and need new leadership to continue same policies. Malaysian politics also changed recently with Mahatir M.
