This is Indian soldiers in a battle with PLA troops.

Indian soldiers got beat up before the Galwan clash.

"The crisis was acknowledged only on May 17/18th, when a PLA horde crossed eight kilometres into Indian territory on the north bank of Pangong Tso, and badly beat up and hospitalized 72 Indian soldiers. Planning finally began in earnest at the 14 Corps headquarters in Leh, with one senior officer describing the mood thus: “It was Kargil redux; everyone was like, is this really happening?”"

One thing is confusing that whosoever opposes or fights Indian Army, is mostly blamed for hiding losses yet on other hand, India never lost such a number but accidents or heavy suicide rates.

On topic further, isn't ironical that India now needs editor(s) to accept claims made by Indian DM or so? I mean, at-least this is how the impression was given at first place and the Editor is posting something on weibo. And, there's no greater number mention about the losses of PLA.

Exactly. Didnt they announce over 4000 personel lost in the last 2 years, how many of those were actually reported publicly? maybe 1-200 at most.

he Chinese social media has erupted and many questions why the dead soldiers are being kept anonymous ?
That's what happens in Chinese (CPC-PLA) style governance. Is it any wonder why the two staunchest allies they have are also completely military controlled.

Why are Indians so pathetic ? They lost lands to the Chinese but want to prove to everyone that some Chinese soldiers died. So what?

This is due to their inferiority complex. They just have to find a silver lining in any misfortune so they can claim a victory. All 1.3 billion are so much into this petty game that they even believe they would be a superpower by 2020. "Plain hopeless".

I highly doubt that PLA suffered any significant casualties, had it been the case, they wouldn't have released the captured Indian soldiers that even India was unaware of their whereabouts.
Unless India was also holding some Chinese captive :)

We have seen that it has happened in the past.

Anyone in India can inquire the number at anytime by filing what is called a Right to Information petition.

China has no such flexibility. In Pakistan, forces even refuse to tell the civilian leaders about the total number of casualties.

"知情人士告诉老胡,在中印边境地区的解放军一线官兵士气十分高昂,印军根本不是他们的对手。今年以来的几场冲突重挫了印军蚕食我国领土的气焰,让印方重新认识了中国坚决捍卫本国领土主权的决心和意志"。

"People familiar with the matter told Lao Hu that the morale of the PLA frontline officers and soldiers in the border area is very high, and the Indian army is not a match for them at all. "

After such high profile clash and graphic disclosure of Indian casualties, if India was holding any PLA soldiers, you can be sure, their presence would have covered up all else that is happening on LAC.

And jeopardize all those Indian soldiers in custody with China? Come on, Indian Army is not that stupid.

Sure... Why dont you submit a request now and see how far you get.

Where have i talked about numbers , more or less ?
Are you in shock ?

China killed far fewer soldiers than India killed. In that conflict, 20 soldiers died in the Indian army, many of whom were injured

Shock? See highlighted text from your post.

Just like Baghdad Bob, he claimed allied forces were scared and demotivated 30 seconds before Baghdad was occupied by the coalition. I wouldn't take PLA's claims of Indian morale seriously.

Don't know about that. Better consult with Korean War Veterans.
