Give Pervez Musharraf Support

Entering the War on Terror was the only viable choice Pakistan had. Do you think Pakistan would be anywhere near its current defence capabilities if it chose not to join? If anything, Pakistan would have faced a massive barage of sanctions, international isolation and guess what -- Drone Attacks wouldn't be the option America takes, it'd be incursions and bombings of what the Pentagon'd consider targets.

what choice?are we slaves of america?
musharaf joined wot just cause he wanted his dictatorship to become legitimate in west
why dident turkey gave bases to USA?
why hasent america for once voilated iranian airspace?

why are there no drone strikes in north korea?

what sanctions and what isolation?the poor man in the street is already isolated and sanctioned...he cant travel to murree for holidays let alone going abroad?all the billion of dollars that came to Pakistan ,,,where did all of the money went....i dident received a single cent?all went in the pockets of musharaf and his friends....plus the money that was made from nato supply fee and handing Pakistanis to americans,,,thats a separate story,,

Not sure why people bring the case of Afia...and call her daughter of the nation..i would rather call it shame of the nation or traitor of the nation.

This traitor ***** was comfortably living in USA and only looked up to Pakistan as a last resort of escape once her tracks begin to uncover.

Aafia Siddiqui came to the United States on a student visa in 1990 for both undergraduate and graduate education, and she eventually settled in Massachusetts and earned a PhD in neuroscience from Brandeis University in 2001. A devout Muslim who had engaged in Islamic charity work,[4] Siddiqui fled to Pakistan in 2002, before disappearing with her three young children in March 2003, shortly after the arrest in Pakistan of her second husband's uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged chief planner of the September 11 attacks.[3][15][16] Khalid Mohammed reportedly mentioned Siddiqui's name while he was being interrogated,[9] and shortly thereafter, she was added to the FBI Seeking Information – War on Terrorism list.[16][17] In May 2004, the FBI named Siddiqui as one of its seven Most Wanted Terrorists.[16] Her whereabouts were reported to have been unknown for more than five years, until she was arrested in July 2008 in Afghanistan.[3] Upon her arrest, the Afghan police said she was carrying in her purse handwritten notes and a computer thumb drive containing recipes for conventional bombs and weapons of mass destruction, instructions on how to make machines to shoot down U.S. drones, descriptions of New York City landmarks with references to a mass casualty attack, and two pounds of sodium cyanide in a glass jar.

Siddiqui moved to Houston, Texas, on a student visa in 1990 joining her brother.[12][35][39] She attended the University of Houston for three semesters, then transferred to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after being awarded a full scholarship.[16][37] In 1992, as a sophomore, Siddiqui received a Carroll L. Wilson Award for her research proposal "Islamization in Pakistan and its Effects on Women".[16][35][40] As a junior, she received a $1,200 City Days fellowship through MIT's program to help clean up Cambridge elementary school playgrounds.[16] While she initially had a triple major in biology, anthropology, and archeology at MIT, she graduated in 1995 with a B.S. in biology.[41][42]

She was regarded as religious by her fellow MIT students, but not unusually so: a student who lived in the dorm at the time said, "She was just nice and soft-spoken, [and not] terribly assertive."[37]

She joined the Muslim Students' Association (MSA),[16][43] and a fellow Pakistani recalls her recruiting for association meetings and distributing pamphlets.[28] Journalist Deborah Scroggins suggested that through the MSA's contacts Siddiqui may have been drawn into the world of terrorism:
At MIT, several of the MSA's most active members had fallen under the spell of Abdullah Azzam, a Muslim Brother who was Osama bin Laden's mentor.... [Azzam] had established the Al Kifah Refugee Center [Brooklyn, New York] to function as its worldwide recruiting post, propaganda office, and fund-raising center for the mujahideen fighting in Afghanistan... It would become the nucleus of the al-Qaeda organization.[16]
Siddiqui solicited money for the Al Kifah Refugee Center. In addition to being an al-Qaeda charitable front and al-Qaeda’s U.S operational headquarters, tied to bin Laden, it advocated armed violence. One of its affiliates, El Sayyid Nosair, had just killed Rabbi Meir Kahane in 1990, and it was tied to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.[12][16][41] Through the MSA she met several committed Islamists, including Suheil Laher, its imam, who publicly advocated Islamization and jihad before 9/11. For a short time, Laher was also the head of the Islamic charity Care International (which had nothing to do with the eponymous aid organization), which reportedly collected funds for jihadist fighters.[4]
When Pakistan asked the U.S. for help in 1995 in combating religious extremism, Siddiqui circulated the announcement with a scornful note deriding Pakistan for "officially" joining "the typical gang of our contemporary Muslim governments", closing her email with a quote from the Quran warning Muslims not to take Jews and Christians as friends.[16] She wrote three guides for teaching Islam, expressing the hope in one: "that our humble effort continues ... and more and more people come to the [religion] of Allah until America becomes a Muslim land."[16] She also took a 12-hour pistol training course at the Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club in Braintree, Massachusetts.[44]

Great..so one cursing Pakistan for co-operating with the evil west while living in the west itself has now become qom ke beti...lanat on such awam!

In August 2002, Khan alleged Siddiqui was abusive and manipulative throughout their seven years of marriage; her violent personality and extremist views led him to suspect her of involvement in ****** activities.[53] Khan went to Siddiqui's parents' home, and announced his intention to divorce her and argued with her father. The latter died of a heart attack on August 15, 2002.[16][37] In September 2002, Siddiqui gave birth to the last of their three children, Suleman.[16] The couple's divorce was finalized on October 21, 2002.[16][24]

Siddiqui was approached by Ghazni Province police officers outside the Ghazni governor's compound on the evening of July 17, 2008 in the city of Ghazni. With two small bags at her side, crouching on the ground, she aroused the suspicion of a man who feared she might be concealing a bomb under the burqua that she was wearing.[4] A shopkeeper noticed a woman in a burqa drawing a map, which is suspicious in Afghanistan where women are generally illiterate.[12][21] She was accompanied by a teenage boy about 12, whom she reportedly claimed was an orphan she had adopted.[35] She said her name was Saliha, that she was from Multan in Pakistan, and that the boy's name was Ali Hassan.[4] Discovering that she did not speak either of Afghanistan's main dialects, Pashtu or Dari, the officers regarded her as suspicious.[21]

In a bag she was carrying, the police found that she had a number of documents written in Urdu and English describing the creation of explosives, chemical weapons, Ebola, dirty bombs, and radiological agents (which discussed mortality rates of certain of the weapons), and handwritten notes referring to a "mass casualty attack" that listed various U.S. locations and landmarks (including the Plum Island Animal Disease Center, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the New York City subway system), according to her indictment.[4][15][21][87] The Globe also mentioned one document about a 'theoretical' biological weapon that did not harm children.[12] She also reportedly had documents detailing U.S. "military assets", excerpts from The Anarchist's Arsenal, a one-gigabyte digital media storage device that contained over 500 electronic documents (including correspondence referring to attacks by "cells", describing the U.S. as an enemy, and discussing recruitment of jihadists and training), maps of Ghazni and the provincial governor's compounds and the mosques he prayed in, and photos of Pakistani military people.[3][4][15][20][21][88][89] Other notes described various ways to attack enemies, including by destroying reconnaissance drones, using underwater bombs, and using gliders.[3][15]
She also had "numerous chemical substances in gel and liquid form that were sealed in bottles and glass jars", according to the later complaint against her,[4][15][20][21][88][90] and about two pounds of sodium cyanide, a highly toxic poison.[3][13] The U.S. prosecutors later said that sodium cyanide is lethal even when ingested in small doses (even less than five milligrams), and various of the other chemicals she had can be used in explosives.[91] Abdul Ghani, Ghazni's deputy police chief, said she later confessed that she intended to carry out a suicide attack against the provincial governor.[89]
The officers arrested her, as she cursed them, and took her to a police station. She said that the boy found with her was her stepson, Ali Hasan; Siddiqui subsequently admitted he was her biological son, when DNA testing proved the boy to be Ahmed.[4][35]
There are conflicting accounts of the events following her arrest, which led to her being sent to the United States for trial. American authorities say that two FBI agents, a U.S. Army warrant officer, a U.S. Army captain, and their U.S. military interpreters arrived in Ghazni the following day, on July 18, to interview Siddiqui at the Afghan National Police facility where she was being held.

Taliban and al-Qaeda reaction

According to a February 2010 report in the Pakistani newspaper The News International, the Taliban threatened to execute captured U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, whom they have held since June 2009, in retaliation for Siddiqui's conviction. A Taliban spokesperson claimed that members of Siddiqui's family had requested help from the Taliban to obtain her release from prison in the U.S.[136][137]
In September 2010 the Taliban kidnapped Linda Norgrove, a Scottish aid worker in Afghanistan, and Taliban commanders insisted Norgrove would be handed over only in exchange for Siddiqui.[138][139][140][141] On October 8, 2010, Norgrove was accidentally killed during a rescue attempt by a grenade thrown by one of her rescuers.[95][95][142][143][144]
A speaker for the Taliban, Waliur Rehman, announced that they wanted to swap Siddiqui for two Swiss citizens abducted in Balochistan. The Swiss couple escaped in March 2012.[145][146][147]
In December 2011, al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri demanded the release of Siddiqui in exchange for Warren Weinstein, an American aid worker kidnapped in Pakistan on August 13, 2011.[148]

Musharraf told the Dubai-based television,
Mafia Rule Is Security Threat To Pakistan Posted:7:19 pm,October 11,2007.
Future of Pakistan is at risk if the present policies continued than there will be no army and no generals to criticise said a senior analyst in London. The presidential election cost Pakistan billions not to mention the human cost of its own people sacrificed. Some one told me that,” a country where black economy take over the white economy that country is always ruled by MAFIA”.
A mafia who is playing a game of “good cop and bad cop” rules Pakistan to keep power and control but innocent soldiers and civilians are dying every day. But for how long is the question? The recent Presidential Ordinance is a typical example of mafia style amnesty by blackmail and you scratch my back and I will yours. The law enforcement agencies are not capable and trained to catch the high tech criminals in Pakistan. Sugar, wheat, shares and cement mafia is too strong. Yes more than a military chief and President armed with 58.
The law of evidence needs to redefine. The multiplication of millionaires and billionaires in Pakistan is clear evidence that Mafia is running the show while the poor people of Pakistan are paying indirect taxes. The “law of conflict of interest” almost don’t exist. Some officials are bidding on line from their laptops in the stock exchanges while sitting in sensitive places and start the business after the stock markets are closed.
The civilians are not exception at all especially who are planning to spend retired life in the US. Pakistan has compromising elite who is undermining the Sovereignty of Pakistan day in day out. According to some reliable sources the wife of Pakistani Foreign Secretary Riaz Mohmmad Khan is an indigenous US Citizen and working in the US State Department. Does it sound odd? Is there any conflict of interest? Is nuclear Pakistan a free country or a banana republic?

On 12th September 2007, US Deputy Secretary of State John D. Negroponte who was leading the American team in talks called on Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Riaz Muhammad Khan before formal opening of the talks on Pakistan-United States strategic dialogue to promote bilateral relations and expand cooperation in various fields. Trouble follows wherever Negroponte goes.

Critics says certain minorities like Qadyanis in Pakistan are playing major role as a bridge between Zionist state and present rulers of Pakistan through their up and running office in Israel and presence of approximately 600 Qadyanis in the Israeli Army.

On Monday 8th October 2007 Israeli President Shimon Peres congratulated Pervez Musharraf on his yet unofficial re-election as president of Pakistan, a country with which Israel has no relations. “Although we do not have formal relations, I would like to convey my best wishes on your election as president of Pakistan for a second term,” Peres wrote in a letter made public.

“You have shown responsibility and strength in preventing the spread of violence and terrorism on many occasions and I carry in my heart your support for peace in the Middle East which I heard directly from you.”

Israel and Pakistan, the world’s second-most populous Muslim country, have no official relations. However, Musharraf and the now coma-stricken former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon shook hands on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in September 2005.

President Musharraf made a surprise offer on Friday 20th April 2007, to help resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in an interview with the pan-Arab satellite Television Al-Arabia.

Musharraf told the Dubai-based television that he would be willing to visit the Jewish state in order to help bring peace to the troubled Middle East. Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Regev said Pakistan’s involvement would be welcomed, but said Musharaf’s effectiveness would likely be limited.

“Israel believes that moderate Muslim countries like Pakistan can play a very important role in helping and strengthening the Middle East peace process,” Regev said. “Having said that, experience has clearly demonstrated that the most successful mediators have always been those that have established and solid relationships with both sides.”

Israel on Saturday 21st April 2007, welcomed an offer by President General Pervez Musharraf to help resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but said it was doubtful the Pakistani leader could make much progress. But Israeli Prime Minister turned down the offer later on.

“General Pervez Musharaf’s coup seemed timely. Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres said to Newsweek Magazine (5 November 2001):’I told him [President Bush], we understand your strategy, as a good Jewish boy, I would have never dreamed that I would pray for the safety of Musharraf, the president of Pakistan. That is a most unexpected experience.”

Shimon Peres has a soft corner for General Musharaf for long time but why is a million dollar question? Why would a leader with blood of Palestinians on his hand love General Musharaf? That is for President and his team to think. People of Pakistan need justice not bullets need food not bombs. Does any one think Indian-US agenda and interests are common in Wazirstan and Baluchistan?

Army Intelligence Chief, Aharon Ze'evi Farkash warned of Al-Qaeda's intentions toward Israel. He has stated that this global terror group has exploited holes in the Egypt-Gaza border to infiltrate Gaza. Al-Qaeda's presence in Gaza, in the name of "The Jihad Brigades in the Promised Land", has also been announced on Islamic websites known to be friendly to Osama Bin Laden's terrorist network. Al Qaeda is known to have a working relationship with Hamas.

Credit us with some intelligence, Ariel Sharon! Jews are being killed, not because they do not have advance warning of Arab attacks, but rather because your suicidal surrender policies of Jewish land have encouraged a renewed onslaught of terror.

There you have it, dear friends. Because Sharon gave parts of G-d's Promised Land to Israel's enemies, Gaza is quickly becoming the capital of international terrorism.

Are Sharon's policies dangerous only for Israel? Yesterday, Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad openly called for Israel to be "wiped off the map", and lashed out at Muslim nations which recognize the Jewish state.

"We should not settle for a piece of land," he said of Israel's pullout from the Gaza strip. "Anyone who signs a treaty which recognizes the entity of Israel means he has signed the surrender of the Muslim world," Ahmadinejad said, warning Muslim leaders who recognize Israel they "face the wrath of their own people."

"The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land," he thundered in a fiery speech on what he called an "historic war between the oppressor and the world of Islam".

"The establishment of the Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world," the Iranian President told a conference in Tehran entitled "The World without Zionism".

Who then is the "Oppressor" the Muslim leaders keep talking about? This is the term used by the Muslim World to refer to the "Great Satan", the United States. Israel, in Muslim eyes, is just the "Little Satan", the creation of the "Great Satan".

Get real, America!

It is important that President George W. Bush, the US State Department, and Condoleezza Rice finally realize that Israel must be allowed to defend itself and that it is counterproductive to pressure Israel to give up land to the Arab enemy. It is harmful to American interests if Israel is pressured to indiscriminately open up Gaza border crossings, which may be used by potential Arab terrorists. Pressure, as well, to provide a road from Gaza to the West Bank, thereby cutting Israel in half, would be sheer folly. In the wake of 9-11, would America allow a road from Mexico to Canada to bisect the United States, even though both of these nations are friendly to the US?

It is erroneous to say that the Muslims have never given us warning. On the contrary, America experienced Islamic terror on 9-11. Israel experiences Islamic terror virtually every day. We do not need any warnings. We need to recognize the destructive goal of Islamic terror.

We will be able to defeat Muslim worldwide terror, only when we realize that both Israel and America are considered the common enemy.

With Blessings and Love for Israel,
Ruth Matar

P.S. To better understand what worldwide Muslim terror is about, we recommend that you obtain the documentary DVD, "IN THE FACE OF TERROR". An email correspondent wrote me that he had seen the DVD at a friend's house and had found it very interesting. He asked me to send him a few copies of the DVD, and requested that same arrive by a certain date, as he planned to show the video at his home to a group of friends.

To view the trailer of "IN THE FACE OF TERROR" go to http://www.gwu.edu/~fidfc/index.htm. The DVD is produced by Ilana Gabriel and costs $20, including shipping. To order the DVD, visit our website Women In Green - For Israel's Tomorrow

Exclusive video footage released by the ICU/ACA today, on Christians Under Attack reveals the destruction of the Assemblies of God Church for Evangelical Copts in Moharam Bek, on Friday, Oct. 21.

Over 5,000 Muslims demonstrated outside of the Alexandria Coptic Orthodox Church last Friday to protest the production of a drama staged at the church two years ago. The protestors say the play blasphemes Islam. According to recent statements by the Coptic Church, however, the play does not defame Islam.

"Copts and other minorities in Egypt are continually subjected to physical and verbal harassment by extremist Muslim groups. Yet we do not destroy their houses of worship or call for bloodshed," said Amgad Zakhari, one of the youth leaders with the ICU/ACA.

In addition to the protests, the Egyptian newspaper, El Fagr, published threats made by Muslim radicals against the Coptic Pope Shenouda III. According to this report, Muslim radicals publicly announced their threats through mosques in the outskirts of the city of Alexandria and were calling for the death of the Pope in revenge for an alleged insult to Islam's prophet.

The ICU and the ACA are planning a demonstration in front of the UN next week to protest the persecution of Christians in Egypt.
Facts about the Palestinian lobby group (ATFP) which Yavin has chosen to work with.

* Israel is blamed for 9-11: The American Task Force on Palestine lobbies against Israeli "conquests", a euphemism for Israeli presence beyond the 1967 cease-firelines, going so far as to blame this presence for the 9/11 terror attack at the World Trade Center ("The ill will directed at the United States by its perceived support for Israeli conquests ... has created serious security risks for our country, as demonstrated so horrifically on 9-11."
* Israel is not on the map: Israel is not marked on at least one map appearing in the ATFP website (in contrast, so-called "Palestine", which is not a state, is marked); instead, Israel's entire land area is shaded brown on the map to indicate that Israel's land area is considered part of the Arab World (in contrast, Western Sahara, for example, is not shaded brown in the same map).

* Violence OK while Israel remains east of Green Line: The ATFP's understanding of the Roadmap's "central feature" is "a simple quid pro quo: an end to Palestinian violence against Israelis in exchange for an end to Israeli settlement of Palestinian lands."

* Veiled threats re renewed Arab boycott: "The Arab world: 2.2 Arab countries, 300 million people, $1.2 trillion. Palestinian statehood will ... open the door to a trillion dollar market.", the ATFP website promises. The flip side of this glowing conditional statement, however, is that failure to set up a Palestinian state might cause the United States to forfeit that trillion dollar market - a subtle ATFP threat that the Arab boycott might just return.

* Fatal bus attacks by suicide bombers downgraded (compared to accidental deaths in combat areas): One day after a double suicide bombing in Beer-Sheva left 16 dead Israeli civilians including 10 women and a three year old child, the ATFP had this to say: "[Y]esterday's bombings ... along with the deaths of hundreds of Palestinian civilians over the course of the past several months... stand in the way of peaceful coexistence between the two peoples".

*Lack of credibility: The ATFP does not give a source for the above claim that "hundreds of Palestinian civilians" were killed within a few months. We fact-checked and found that even the extreme left affiliated B'tselem organization puts the total number of Palestinians killed by the IDF in the months preceding the ATFP statement, including combatants, at a few hundred. B'tselem's website makes no claim whatever that this number includes substantial numbers of civilians (as opposed to combatants), as implied by the vague ATFP statement.
The Holocaust denyin', sweet-talkin' Arafatian in a suit and darlin' of the West, Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, came to visit Dubya and to demand yet more one-sided concessions from the Jews. He's got them on the run, ya know...Lebanon, Gaza and all that. Strike while the iron's hot (and the Jews can't seem to muster the backbone to do what must be done regardless of whose hypocritical feathers get ruffled)!

This coalition of Jewish-Zionist psychopaths, conspicuously eager to place blame on Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, were exposed for the loathsome liars and dreadful deceivers that they are by bin Laden himself! In an interview with the Pakistani daily Ummat, published in Karachi on September 28, 2001, bin Laden categorically denied having anything to do with the 9/11 attacks. He went on to allege that elements within Israel, American Jewry and their pro-Zionist helpers in the U.S. “shadow government” were the true culprits, and intimated that the Jews rule America using it as a proxy force to make slaves out of nations that are not subservient to Zionism and the Jewish financial elite. Here are a few excerpts from the interview:

Ummat: You have been accused of involvement in the attacks in New York and Washington. What do you want to say about this? If you are not involved, who might be?

Osama bin Laden: … I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children, and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children, and other people.

… Such a practice is forbidden ever in the course of a battle. It is the United States, which is perpetrating every maltreatment on women, children, and common people of other faiths, particularly the followers of Islam. All that is going on in Palestine for the last 11 months is sufficient to call the wrath of God upon the United States and Israel.

The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself; the people who are a part of the US system, but are dissenting against it. Or those who are working for some other system; persons who want to make the present century as a century of conflict between Islam and Christianity so that their own civilization, nation, country, or ideology could survive. …Then you cannot forget the American Jews, who are annoyed with President Bush ever since the elections in Florida and want to avenge him.

Then there are intelligence agencies in the US, which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This funding issue was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger.

They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Usamah and Taleban and then this incident happened. You see, the Bush administration approved a budget of 40bn dollars. Where will this huge amount go? It will be provided to the same agencies, which need huge funds and want to exert their importance. Now they will spend the money for their expansion and for increasing their importance.

I will give you an example. Drug smugglers from all over the world are in contact with the US secret agencies. These agencies do not want to eradicate narcotics cultivation and trafficking because their importance will be diminished. The people in the US Drug Enforcement Department are encouraging drug trade so that they could show performance and get millions of dollars worth of budget. General Noriega was made a drug baron by the CIA and, in need, he was made a scapegoat. In the same way, whether it is President Bush or any other US president, they cannot bring Israel to justice for its human rights abuses or to hold it accountable for such crimes. What is this? Is it not that there exists a government within the government in the United States? That secret government must be asked as to who made the attacks.

Ummat: The losses caused in the attacks in New York and Washington have proved that giving an economic blow to the US is not too difficult. US experts admit that a few more such attacks can bring down the American economy. Why is al-Qa’idah not targeting their economic pillars?

OBL: I have already said that we are not hostile to the United States. We are against the system, which makes other nations slaves of the United States, or forces them to mortgage their political and economic freedom. This system is totally in control of the American Jews, whose first priority is Israel, not the United States. It is simply that the American people are themselves the slaves of the Jews and are forced to live according to the principles and laws laid by them. So, the punishment should reach Israel. In fact, it is Israel, which is giving a blood bath to innocent Muslims and the US is not uttering a single word. (“Interview with Osama bin Laden. Denies his Involvement in 9/11,” Global Research,
