It seems the world is resigned to Kashmir issue and perhaps though coy agrees with Indian position. India lacks both will power and wherewithal to take Kashmir. They do however have a direction.

Pakistanis on the other hand pay lip service to Kashmir and do chest thumping to dare Indians to cross the border... if anyone needs explanation then know that it is not a show of bravado. India is taking initiatives not Pakistan, they are pushing the red lines not Pakistan. They are doing a build up both in man power and equipment in Kashmir. They are the ones introducing new technology in the region. I don't know if anyone sees where this is heading but people unwilling to see the avenir won't grasp the gravity of situation nor see series of converging events.

I think and i could be wrong that the new Leadership of Pakistan ( Since Mushy ) they think as long as Kashmiri's start a full on civil war and India did not attack Pakistan with a massive force they will not jump into a full scale war or war of liberation , despite been raising Pakistani' flags, it won't take long before the same Kashmiri's will just stay in homes while they expect Pakistan Army and Pakistani's to die for them .

Kashmir is an very tricky situation for both parties. It is not as easy as the governments of India and Pakistan want u to believe . It will not be as easy to resolve as people in these forums tend to think.
For every point of one side another point can be raised to counter the argument . So it's a waste of time for us to discuss here.

Honestly, we can sympathise with their views had 2 million non Muslim kashmiris been rendered homeless or become refugees. I am counting those who ran away from P0K and live stateless in India. but until kashmiris don't feel the equality and security in their homeland and given all opportunities that minorities in India get we cannot rest.

Most of them want to be with Pakistan but among them majority of them don't want to do anything to get Independence , some of them are pro India who often joins in J&K govt , it will be tricky to see their reaction when they come out of the cages, and than there are those who wants Independent Kashmir .

AJK does not have an independent govt. They are subservient to Pak army. It is a crime there to say anything against Pak interests or even protest for independence. They cannot have their own place in UN, issue currency or hold a passport. All features of a independent govt are not there. You can say they have an independent govt like those of states in India. I agree to that.
