Gilani disqualified as PM: SC

Nothing that a judicious application of the famed "Doctrine of Necessity" cannot cure with the stroke of a pen.
A political court attacking a democratic government?

Of course, it is null and void - until "necessary". ;)
Exactly, the political court has no right to attack the democratic government of the people by the people for the people

You need to look up the meaning of the word attack...

The PM committed a crime, the court gave its ruling. Don't commit any crimes, and no one will give any rulings. The issue of 'attack' doesn't come into play.

It won't be necessary not by Supreme Court of Pakistan. They have earned that trust.

Anyone who are sad with Gilani disqualification, let's burn the houses, stores, streets or anything, fire them. Is that our expression?

Better to have no Prime Minister than a bakhra Prime Minister.

...........

I certainly hope so that is the case.

Escalating the tussle between state institutions will not serve national interests in the present predicament, when both internal and external situations are quite tense already.

The PM called a spade a spade. That's what irked the SC

Actually the PM committed contempt of court which is a crime.

question for you.

If Pakistan gets a new PM .....conflict with judiciary doesn't go away.

Will the PPP still refuse to send letter to swiss officials.

So its 'necessary' for the SC to let a criminal get a pass?

Mr. Yousuf Raza Gilani is an individual the SC has not challenged the authority of the government just ruled on a crime committed by an individual.

It is very important that every individual knows they are answerable to the law no matter what their profession is. This rule of law is what will eventually end terrorism, corruption and bring Pakistan towards a path of true freedom and democracy.

Likely, but how do I know?

Right now I feel they are looking for the right guy who would take a bullet for Zardari. Thats why you're hearing the names of only dumbasses being discussed. That's why you'll not see the name of say Hina Rabbani Khar, threatened with jail time she will write that letter.

Very few people are ready to commit to being Zardari's lapdog and even risk personal ruin for it.
