Islamabad: Breaking News! According to latest media reports from Pakistan, 2-4 terrorists have still held over 10-15 security personnel as hostage at the Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi. At least 4 militants and 6 security personnel were killed in a daring suicide attack on the Army HQ this afternoon. Meanwhile, the Pakistan government has blocked all major TV channels, which showed this report.

All private news channels in Pakistan, including Geo, SAMAA, Express News and ARY News were taken off air. The news channels are clueless why their transmissions were blocked. The action was taken, as they were airing live coverage of the encounter between the Army and terrorists, they claimed.

The private news channels were blocked mainly in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore and their surrounding areas. According to reports, the transmission will be restored soon.
