Well back in 2006 when we bought our bungalow at place where I live, some neighbours had all the stories to scare us about this house....but we found nothing living here for more than 12 years now...later I found that some jealous neighbours were planning to buy this house and all of sudden we bought it. lol

If it was really hot at day time and the temperature went suddenly cold, the wood in the house especially if it was old would shrink rapidly to let the heat out. The pipes and fixtures would then be stressed and make clanging and banging sounds.
