Noob, there was a Joint US Base in Tarbela operated by ISI which hosted American Personnel. They regularly visited Afghanistan along with Col Imam who'd operate all the operational routes.

they visited Afghanistan without permission of Pakistan
no Pakistan no Afghan war - it is that simple

USA was never involved in Afghanistan prior to 1979. USA was indifferent to nominally pro-Soviet politically neutral Afghanistan. They had the Shah of Iran as a staunch ally.

MEK and PDKI/KDPI, Komoleh, Pjak, Al-ahwaz are terrorist groups backed by west to create chaos, civil war and violent revolution in Iran.
Khomeini was also brought from west to create civil war and chaos (it worked partly) in Iran. This is a game against Iran which will go on forever. Iran should focus on military industry, defensive wars outside of our borders to protect the country against terrorism.

When you start giving millions of dollars worth of arms to guerilla fighters and allow them to become battle hardened during the fight with your foe instead of trying to establish a government and help that government, eventually you end up with a an unstructured and uncontrollable bunch of armed fighters who may end up on anyone's side.

US repeated the same approach in Syria, training and supplying arms to anti government guerilla fighters. The only thing that stopped Syria from becoming another failed state like Afghanistan or Libya was Iran's and Russia's interference to keep the government alive.

Syrian government may not be the best government, but at least there is a central power in Syria that will provide some rule of law and can be held responsible in international affairs. When you remove that government, you are dealing with a bunch of tribes that don't know any rules.

Partly correct.

Shah became more and more independent in the 70s, that's why they made khomeini ready to replace him, khomeini had contact with USA. They expected khomeini to turn Iran into afghanistan or syria (in combination of backing saddam against Iran).
Well fortunately armed leftist-(islamist) groups such as MEK were defeated and syrianization of Iran was prevented, fortunately Iranian people fought west backed saddam well and prevented occupation of Iran.

West reached its goals only partly by sending khomeini to Iran:
1. Boogeyman was created to sell weapons to persian gulf slaves such as saudis.
2. Stopping progress of Iran temporarily (progress started by shah on all fronts: nuclear, economy, infrastructure, weapon industry etc).
3. Destruction of some border areas by saddams invasion.
4. Creating islamist buffer zone against Soviet Union.

What happened that west now again is not happy with islamic republic?
Soviet union fell (no need anymore for islamist bufferzone), Iran started military industry and Iran became influental in the region (Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Palestina).

What is the best answer Islamists in Iran can give to west?
Reforms, fighting corruption, giving political and social rights to Iranian nation. If Khamenei backed mafia who own media and press, judiciary, economy (state companies, bonyads), parliament (by veto power of guardian council) allow such change the internal problems will be solved peacefully. Few examples of these khamenei backed gangsters are the Larijani (dalton) brothers and the jewish muslim (jewslim) darling of khamenei whos name is Asgaroladi . Dream scenario would be a coup by nationalist elements in the army and bloody elimination of these leeches and their backers from Iranian soil.

Let us cut the crap about battle hardened guerrilla fighters. A 25 year old in 1985 is 58 years old in 2018. The new fighters are not being trained in Afghanistan. All the battle hardened experience did not work against a few hundred special forces troops and USAF in Oct/Nov 2001

I`m sure that even in his worst nightmares he never imagined that nato would one day be in exactly the same situation in afghanistan in the 2000s that the soviets had been in in the 80s,except of course the soviets had the brains to get out after 9 years, for nato its been 17 years and counting......
This really is a beautiful, and somewhat ironic, illustration of the laws of unintended consequences.

Zionist are ready to dump the slave goyum so they send them to this grave yard. All for greater israel expansion.

I don't know why the US should have given up an ally like Shah of Iran? most western wannabe with the plans to buy billions $ worth of weaponry from them a true buffer against soviet union (F-14 was sold to Iran to counter Soviet fighter jets, RF-4C to gather intelligence) by all those secret CIA projects in Iran from "Dark Gene" to "IBEX"? 5 AWACS were ordered to deliver , 70 more F14s , 160 F16s with training program, possible F15 purchases 4 Kidd-class destroyer and would list go on and on ... the true friend of israel (the only one) while the US was fighting in Afghanistan and just had lost Daoud Khan and entire Afghanistan ..
U.jpg Radar_Locations_on_Map Latest.JPG The Philco-Ford Peace Ruby Project.JPG Daoud Khan.jpg

And who says Saudi needed Iranian revolution to buy more weapons while they were doing it?

And there were enough conflicts to guarantee free flow of weapons in this region:

While there was risk to lose Iran to Soviet Union .. which meant access of it to Persian Guld, losing Afghanistan and Persian gulf ... whenever they wanted him he was there, in Zafar in Vietanam , in Afghanistan .. a good boy.

I don't know why people portray the Shah era as era of Khershaye mehraboon as if people were in paradise?

You are assuming these atrocities will only affect one generation. It doesn't work like that. Son learns from father. Sons seek revenge for their murdered families or fathers. When it starts it can go for ever. Look at your first nations. Why most of them are addicted and miserable? They used to be proud and hardworking before white people screwed them. Misery can run through generations, so can grudge and atrocity.
