Islamabad: Lieutenant General Peter Schelzig, Commander, German Air Force Command, visited the Air Headquarters, Islamabad, says a press release.

He called on Air Marshal Waseem-ud-din, acting Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, in his office. Both remained together for some time and discussed matters of professional interest. The delegation attended a briefing at the Air Headquarters on the organisation, role and functioning of Pakistan Air Force.

PAF can request Germans to gift a 12-16 Eurofighters for sake of keeping parity b\w it and IAF. which is going for Rafale.

.
No man, we're not interested in the Eurofighter. J-10B is our platform of choice in that area.

For the Rafales, we've got these lovely SD-10Bs that are just dying to rush up to meet them up close and gain their friendship. We expect the Rafales to just FALL in love with these missiles if the IAF tries to come here across the border, to extend their aman ke asha like they did in 2008. Incidenly, no SD-10Bs were welcoming them back then, but the Indian aircraft ran back anyways.

Now that the Indians have chosen the Rafales, Germany and other European countries should be more open to selling their tech to Pakistan. Sort of like the French avionics deal earlier, except Eurofighter consortium countries can provide a more modern and sophisticated package than the French, for future JFT blocks if we're still interested.

He is the German Air Force Commander, not some sugar daddy that can go out handing toys out. You Indians seem to think that this world is like a mighty playground and we're all kids playing in it. Can I have 12-16 gum drops? Sure! Have 12-16 Eurofighters as well. To make it even sweeter a deal, here's a trillion dollars to improve your road network. An aircraft carrier has already been docked at your port and we will raise an army of unstoppable giant Nazi zombies for you too....................because we love you.

That's what you sound like. Get a life!

In 2008 PAF did nothing, except for some cheap airshows over their cities to put up a brave face.

It was enough to make your MKIs scuttle back to your airspace, what do you call that? A cowardly farce?

if Indians are so worried why they dont gift us a few squadrons of rafale, we will gladly accept it.. !!

I have a better option shouldn't India stop buying first and use that money to eradicate poverty and then Pakistan will not feel the need to get these fighters to counter India.

The Luftwaffe trains right near where I live (think they are moving though, most ADA is going too Ft. Sill). They had Richtoffen Symbols in their HQ, which I thought strange, but I'm not real familiar with German Luftwaffe structure (the units that train here are ADA, not fighter)

Oh you mean the fairy tale where 2 F-7s locked onto 150 MKIs which fled in cowardice. I forgot that.

It's alright man, it's okay that you forgot that. In psychology it is called "repressing your memory", when something traumatic happens. What you're narrating there, sounds pretty traumatic for you.

Your memory problems aside, the fact of the matter is that India tried sending a couple of SU-30s across to "bomb some targets". And they aborted their mission and ran back after PAF F-16s intercepted them.

So yeah, that was very cowardly thing on PAF's part. Because the IAF ran away in a VERY dignified and brave manner.
