Since General Raheel Sharif Emerged post departure of General Kiani , he has raised the bar of Credibility and respect. Not only the force members love him but the general public also love him greatly (I know I certainly rate him very highly)
General Raheel has the honor of being one of the most respected and well reputed Chief of the Pakistan Army and he has in a matter of less than 2 years, done for the country what couldn't be done in the previous 8–10 years. The nation today stands united behind him to curb the menace of terrorism from Pakistan across the board.
- Under his supervision the military destroyed the Terrorist networks on western frontier
- Under his supervision , military also launched city wide clearance of RAW network in Karachi
- Rouge Entity networks (ISIS) were not allowed to set foot in Pakistan and Military / Rangers took initiate to take action to know knock out these cells
Shock-waves were sent in political Circles when he indicated he would decide to end his term on time as head of the Military
Yet the public have developed an appreciation for the man , and not to mention his young age, general view comes to mind that he man with Solid credibility should continue in his role as a leader when the nation is in search of Credible leadership
Always present near his troops , always motivating them
Always close to people and making impact with his personality
Coming from a family that has given every thing to Pakistan , his character shows immense strength
What can be more defining for the man by Taking on Terrorist head on and clearing house in largest Military operation by Pakistan , which became known as "Zarb E Azb"
And here we come , he decides that he will go at end of his term , his popularity figures are tremendous as the people love him and his contribution to Pakistan's security.
One would say that at 59 he is quite young and could easily serve the nation for another 4-5 years
However we can rest assured that he will certainly choose a successor who can serve the nation
With out doubt an inspirational leader in Pakistan
