General Raheel leaves for two-day China visit

.
No! instead this makes it evident that he is actually the only guy who is well capable here unlike our incompetent government lead by badshah nawaz sharif who only likes to eat sirie paye inside his palace riwand, and doesnt know anything regarding how to run a country.
Very interesting to see how the majority of the awam is so pro army they don't mind the forces running things. What, in your opinion, have been the mail reasons for such a high failure rate of civilian administrations in your country ?

The main reason for the high failure rate of civilian administration is the rigging in elections, corruption, their incompetency and their ignorance towards the problems that the awam is facing.
When the terrorists were playing with lives of our people, our government was keen in dialogues and in world tours, they were not interested in awam rather they were more interested in increasing thier bank balance but it was our army who launched operation to eradicate terrorists otherwise they would have been operating more easily in our tribal areas.
Its just a natural thing that if some one vacate the space then others will definitely comes in to fill the gap.

rigging, allegation or truth ? why not use hard evidence in a court of law and take the guilty down in a civilian system then ?

and you make it sound like the anti terror operation was initiated by the army without the go ahead by the civilian leadership, do you have any evidence to support either of those claims ?

Just curious about the goings on across the border, I know our system is far from perfect and corruption is rife, just as it is in most governments across the world I guess but most countries still manage a functioning civilian administration with a tight leash on the armed forces. In Pakistan, it seems it's the other way around with the military being the main functionary arm of the state, and they have the support of the people. Kind of like Egypt almost ? :what:

Lol courts! you mean the same courts and judges who were elected by the same incompetent politicians. My friend! these courts are as lame as our government. These courts are good for nothing. These courts have released the terrorists and even stopped our army from executing them. We should not expect much from these courts.

Every one witnessed the rigging happened in this general election. IK emphasized many times to audit the elections but the government is not willing to because they know if they do then they would be exposed.

No it was not launched by the indication of our government instead government was not willing to launch it at the first place, they were just wasting time on useless dialogues which failed many times due to their bad planning.

Well scenario in Pakistan is completely different from india, in your country people are more inclined towards government while in our country we keep our army close to our heart, and we dont trust our government for some obvious reasons.
We have witnessed more progress during military reign but if we shed some light on the democracy, they didnt gave us anything for last 67 years instead these so called peoples representatives have looted the whole country and put our country in the place where we standing right now.

cool, thanks..yeah, democracy can sure be a sham, what works for some does not mean it will work for all.. good luck to you and Pakistan and your armed forces to stabilize the situation in your country.

COAS in China: General Fan Changlong praises Zarb-i-Azb

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called upon General Fan Changlong, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, on Sunday morning, according to a tweet by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Maj-Gen Asim Bajwa.

General Raheel Sharif left for a two-day visit to China on Saturday during which he is expected to meet China's political and military leadership to discuss issues pertaining to security and defence cooperation between the two countries.

Gen Fan termed 'China-Pakistan solid relations as strategic cooperative partnership' and called the two countries most important neighbours and iron brothers.

Showing solidarity with Pakistan against any challenge, "he praised 'Operation Zarb-i-Azb' and termed it as a decisive, indiscriminate, bold and hard blow for terrorists," said another tweet by the top military spokesman.
