Every hour they bomb the outside of hospitals to scare patients and refugees and have them flee. The hospitals will collapse at this rate if this doesn't stop. Seems like that's what they're aiming for in order to deny they targeted the hospitals.

Phobia - an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something.

If someone does not like Muslims because they say that Muslims eat too much pork, that would be a phobia. Because Islam forbids eating pork.

If someone says they dislike Muslims because they can commit X,Y and Z acts, but those acts are strictly forbidden in Islam. Then that is Islamophobia. Christopher Hitchens is wrong and wasn't a very good philosopher.

Can you please tell me based on bold part what is real population of Muslim assuming people who do forbidden acts prohibited by Islam are not Muslims. Because I keep hearing real muslims don’t do that. Do those people still count as muslim? If answer is yes than is it islamophobic? Also people who do violent things by proclaiming muslim or use Quran or Hadith to justify crimes they commit what should we say? It is not easy to disassociate religion if crime is committed in name or basis of religion (even though it could be wrong interpretation).

Just to give you example Jihad has become synonyms for killing non believers, violent struggle….. vs real meaning was much different and pious but as very few opposed this misuse now world knows Jihad as violent act. Sizable protest by good guys has to occur for disassociation to take place if not than it becomes part of modern interpretation.

The Muslim-American community should do the best it can but you need to remember that Muslim-Americans don't even have 1% of the power that the Jews have.

There are only 4 million Muslims in America, although I think the figure is deliberately understated. Those 4 million are divided into dozens of ethnicities and nationalities just like Muslims elsewhere, and on average they're not even very rich. Jews, on the other hand practically control everything including politics, media, academia, Hollywood, finance, etc.

It doesn't mean that Muslims shouldn't try to promote Palestinian rights, but the only authority they have is to appeal to the decency and sympathy of the majority. They have no real power. If they push their luck they could end up in a lot of trouble.

Pakistani-Americans are quite well off. The richest Muslim group in America & among the richest groups in all of America.
