Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Are you sure that this clip is not edited? Maybe have a deeper look at history.

The Russian state’s aggressive legal repression of its Jewish minority contributed hugely to the wave of emigration that occurred during the late 1800s. Russian Jews, already confined for much of imperial history to the “Pale of Settlement” in the Empire’s western borderlands, faced increasing violence and persecution as the century wore on. This hostility came to a head after the assassination of Tsar Alexander II in 1881, an event which sparked a wave of anti-Jewish pogroms throughout the Pale.[1] The imperial administration, seeing the Jews as a useful scapegoat, failed to meaningfully suppress the violence. Instead, in 1882 the government issued the “May Laws,” which restricted Jewish settlement in urban areas and severely limited land ownership rights.[2]

That elder generation of Jews endured the pogroms—a Russian word meaning “devastation”—in which rampaging mobs periodically massacred their Jewish neighbors throughout Eastern Europe. And among the hundreds of pogroms that ravaged Jewish life at the turn of the 20th century, one more than any other shocked the world’s conscience and gave fresh urgency to a movement aimed at preventing recurrences of this kind of brutality.

The Kishinev pogrom in southwestern Russia, in what is now Moldova, began on Easter Sunday in 1903. The city of Kishinev was home to some 130,000 people, nearly 40 percent of them Jewish. Homicidal gangs stalked the streets, chasing down Jews and beating them lifeless with crowbars. One victim, a local tradesman named Mordecai Greenschopin, was dragged out of a shed where he was hiding by a mob and bludgeoned to death with poles. The streets were littered with Jewish corpses like Mordecai’s. Many of these bodies were disemboweled and stuffed with feathers.

Oppression of minorities is a familiar theme... Russian oppression of Jews set the stage for Zionist movement as a measure of retaliation and to establish a Jewish state in the promised land. Zionists approached the British to support them in exchange for funding British war machine in World War 1.

Jews are generally hardworking people and it is not surprising to see many growing and making their mark in modern history in different ways. American Jews are particularly powerful due to their hard work and contributions to the society - Americans did not mistreat their Jewish minority unlike others.

Jews still exist in Germany and the country is doing fine.

A member of Saudi Arabia's royal family publicly accused the Hamas terror group of attempting to block his country from normalizing relations with Israel, according to a report Thursday.

Prince Turki Al-Faisal issued the stinging criticism in a statement that also faulted Israel, according to Israel's Channel 12, which called it an "extraordinary message" from the former Saudi intelligence chief.

The comments were the first by a senior official in Saudi Arabia to condemn Hamas after the Oct. 7 attacks.

"We condemn Hamas for its attempt to prevent normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, and condemn Israel for allowing the transfer of funds from Qatar to Hamas in the Gaza Strip," Al-Faisal said, according to Channel 12.

Saudi Arabia reportedly tabled US-backed plans to normalize ties with Israel last week amid the ongoing war between the Jewish state and Hamas, which launched a devastating surprise attack from the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7.

Al-Faisal's mention of fund transfers apparently referred to a Monday report by Reuters that said Qatari aid to Gaza — which is run by Hamas — passed through Israel, citing an unidentified source familiar with the process.

Call them to Saudi Arabian peace conference since they are chums now.

In America only Jews can protest against Israel without fear of cancellation and ostracization.

Zionists reached out to the British to create a Jewish state, not mass killings. This was not possible in Russia obviously. The Ottomans were supporting Germany in World War 1 (Central Powers) and victorious powers including Russia sought to dismember the Ottoman Empire in response. Collapse of the Ottoman Empire was violent and chaotic in unexpected ways. Clashes occurred in different sectors of the once mighty Empire as far as in Mecca. Russians also have a hand in creating problems in the Islamic world but nobody points a finger at this side.

I put emphasis on understanding history in correct manner. Antisemitism cum Anglo-Saxon bashing-fest is not helpful - PDF does not support Antisemitism.
This is not logical, they could not establish their state without mass killings and crimes as it happened, so it is either they lied as usual or you are endorsing their narrative of history

How much of a population existed in British mandated Palestine? Not much.

I am not talking about numbers, humans are not merely physical matter, so i emphasized dishonesty and fake fact within narrative that you posted from. zionist side.
Do you have solid proof of Zionists orchestrating genocide in different lands - lands that are of no interest to them to begin with as per the claim of another member in this thread? I am not a Zionist or want to pick a side in this conversation but I can see tinpot narratives being posted in this thread to justify atrocities against Jews in different lands in the past - unfortunate series of events that gave rise to Zionism as I have pointed out in a post. As if Russian Tsarists and German Nazi were good people and did a good job. British created modern Palestine for Jews - this is clearly stated in British documents. British did emphasize the need to treat non-Jewish residents fairly. Israel is definitely mistreating Palestinian people - all can see this.

So it comes down to how to settle this dispute:
1. One State Solution
2. Two State Solution
3. Iranian Solution (Wipe out Israel)

Which can work?

You need to understand the difference between a conflict and atrocity that WE all can see in current times and going at lengths to promote Antisemitism. Clear enough? Or should I repost Forum Rules?

Appreciate the gesture. Can you please provide the definition of antisemitism as applied by forum administration.

Thanks
