Egypt taking control of Gaza, means the end of Palestinian resistance forever. Egyptian government would be forced to disarm everyone there, and people there will not take it lightly, i.e. Egyptians would have to fight Hamas and PIJ to disarm them.

Sure they would be safe now, but they would also lose Palestine for good. That would also never be accepted.

Unfortunately Palestine is already lost until the end of times war. Israel is a nuclear state which will nuke anyone that threatens their existence. Regarding disarming PIJ and Hamas, Egypt needs to first negotiate with them for a solution, if they disagree then fair enough Egypt cannot do much when the locals are not accepting Egyptian rule.

Looking at the current situation, Israel wants to destroy hamas and PIJ and then expand the Israeli settlements to capture more land, soon enough they will create a smaller gaza and smaller west Bank and then slowly annex it all. How does that help Palestine? With Egypt overtaking atleast we will know it will be a stalemate and Israel cannot harm the Palestinians anymore, nor it can expand.

What you describe as safe hubs for regional black money, some economists call Havens for Capitalism. It is where economic freedom and liberty wants to burst out of control and restraint. But, for Pakistan. which does not have trading relations with India, it furnishes a window through which they can import essentials like medicines. Without this arrangement, they would be paying much higher price importing from Europe etc., Hong Kong and Singapore have played a vital role in the development of China and Southeast Asia.

No legit economist will deny the role of black money in these states which is their primary source of accumulating wealth. They can develop other small industries and avenues of wealth generation but the primary is still black money. Criminals and corrupt will always be safe here.

Wasn't Gaza also part of Egypt until Israel occupied it in 1967 war. Egypt can easily make a deal with Hamas and co to take control of Gaza again and bring peace so Israel doesn't attack and slaughter the innocent.

Gaza wasn't never "officially" our land. Gaza became under our authority after the 48 war until 67 war. Our present border was always our border since ancient times and maybe we can add Sudan .And honestly, for me, I don't want Gaza, we have a lot of problem to be dealt. And you will see even if we took control, we will be attack by some extremist in Gaza and the IDF will keep bombing.

Honestly, In Egypt, we don't love Hamas that much. They caused loads of problems in Egypt specially during 2011 revolution. And also Yahya Sinwar's nephew was killed during a confrontation between ISIS (he joined ISIS) and the egyptian army in Sinai.
