I am glad Godse is not really as handsome as the German actor, Horst Buchholz. ("The Magnificent Seven" will never be the same now that I see it being about mercs killing Gandhi. And yes, Dear Leader, the images come from Mexican cartel weed.)
Godse does have "crazy eyes" tho, but I do too after six hours in jail.

The actor playing Godse with the ‎"Crazy eyes" is Horst Buchholz, the only non-household name among "The Magnificent Seven" I now have to watch "Its a Beautiful Life" and "Cast a Giant Shadow" to spot him, but the actor was ECLECTIC.

I have said before I am a Kaffir. I mean it. I am a devotee of the Dionysian rite of the theatre, and this guy has served the Great God "Art in Heaven." (And this is some good weed.)

I have no dog in this fight, but the "newspaper" picture is faked from the movie. It is very obvious.

The ONLY other possibility I see is this, and it is a real long shot... the movie makers had a copy of the picture and were so desperate to get it authentic, that they populated the background people in imitation of the real thing.

This reminds me of the fake bin Laden death photo which was shopped from a scene from the movie "Blackhawk down." Remember it? It looked VERY real.

It is a fact that the explosion a day before the assassination made the police extra vigil, and the photographers were made to stand at the gate the day Gandhi was assassinated.

It is so amusing that people cannot differentiate between Gandhi and the funny one who acted as Gandhi here... then again, a few years back, the Sunday Times in the UK published the image of Krishna Benji on 2nd October, saying it was Gandhi.

Such funny things happen, often. Move on people.
