lol you have no knowledge about anything in this world, do you?
How does that make a difference as Indian itself is generated from Indus??. If fighting over name then there are No mention of Pakistan in any textbooks 60-70 years ago so lets not discuss about that. Whole world knows 1947 as partition of British India as India and Pak except ofcourse people like you.
One more clarification for You, Pakistan was a land given for Muslims who want to separate state for Muslims, few migrated, few didn't, few made East Pakistan which later changed to Bangladesh. Now before 1971, If India does not have right on Indus valley civilzation then how half of Pakistan (Now B'desh) claims Gandhara/ Indus valley civilization?? Migration of people and current land does not authorize cultural heritage for respective era as land changes people come and go.
Right, India was not there but Indus was there Indus civilization was there. There were group of kingdoms were there which were called as India and that is why in 1400 AD Columbus was in search of India and not Kamboj/Gandhar. This is also evident why Red Indians/Indiana states were on name of Indians because of mistakes made by explorer. Oops no Pakistan here again same India!!
Sir,
The word indus river civilization as you are puting it is a misnomer----the civilizations relating to a river were spread maybe 5 ---10 at the most 25 miles away---the last one---I very much doubt it unless there were neighbourinbg rivers---but then as our forefathers were of extremely enterprising nature to rule and to conquer--they spread away from their center----but the true "BLUE BLUEBLOOD" would have remained in the viccinity of the land of their forefathers---and that civilization would have stayed as indus river civilization. It stayed as such for others---like those wanderer story tellers----who when they went back to their motherlands would talk about this land and only thing the people could relate to was indus river civilization and not brahmaputra or ganges civilization---which they could not comprehend or relate to.
So, for the story teller and the listener---everything from this area became indus river civilization---which truly it was not as it came out---even though the people from the region now known as india want to ride the wave of taking it as such. Ganges and brahmaputra and other civilizations are equally important to the local----but being not known and acknowledged the world wide---don't bring a lot to the table----so the people from bharat as they are, want to be related to something important and want to ride the wave that was never theirs to ride----the name---indus river civilization.
But incidently---as the land had so many invaders coming in hordes and driving the locals further down over for thousands of years---one then needs to ask the true identity of who really was what they claimed to be----but as we see that the last invasion of our lands was as recent as in the 1700 and 1800's and the conquerers stayed till 1947 and even after the big migration of people at that time, we have a problem of sorts of identity and sovereignty.
One wants revenge for the 800 years rule and subjugation---the other wants the old glory back---. Is it just like iran---what was the religion before islam---that period of glory---to whom does it belong----or even egypt----where does muslim egypt stand next to the pharaoh's egypt---. Are our problems similiar to those of these two nations---is our geography and history similiar to theirs---not at all.
So---if the rajah of gandhara was a hindu----the question to be asked is that what was his place of birth---chennai---kolkata---mumbai----peshawar or areas around it----or what----
I envy you man,u r so lucky to have been under the influence of some classic historical brainwash.
Some cultural diffusion. Sure. Fine. No problem. And still doesn't change the fact Indus was the core of IVC and its primary descendents live in modern day Pakistan.
