I don't see anything wrong with Buzdar, he is a shareef person , talks less which means less rubbish because those who talk more also talk more rubbish. Actually most of the people in Punjab are like Buzdar personality wise, apnay kaam say kaam rakhnay walay. I am not surprised that he has a positive image among general public of punjab, we like people with low profile and not people with big mouths, that is why Nawaz sharif the kuggoo is also famous in punjab because unlike imran khan he speaks less and hence speaks less rubbish, I think we in punjab generally don't like people who talk too much BS. An exception could be lahore which is a mixed origin city with a culture that is considerably different than the general culture of other areas of punjab.

TBH, I don't agree with these surveys. Maybe PTI supporters will feel good after reading this thread, but CM Punjab has done nothing extra ordinary yet. In PMLN's tenure, we used to call these surveys fake, how they become credible now?

It’s by Gallup, a respected organization. I’ve never considered their surveys to be ‘fake’ regardless of the government in power.

That said, I agree that it’s too early to really form an educated opinion about the performance of Buzfar and the new KP & Balochistan CM’s. Probably need to give them at least a year. However, polling organizations routinely do this - survey people on views about politicians after a year in power, so you have a sense of public opinion as a snapshot in time.

Sindh CM should be dead last, no doubt about it, but another way of looking at the survey is that Buzdar’s approval rating is only 37% - not exactly a great performance - there is a lot of room for improvement here.

these type of survey should be held atleast 2.5 years of govt. It's too early to conduct survey.

Bhai, maybe it is due to my 'kamzor' English, I used fake, instead of paid. I interact with 'common' people on daily basis, and believe me, they are not satisfied with CM Buzdar's performance. Even some PTI voters/supporters are not supporting CM Buzdar anymore. That is why I said this/these survey(s) to be 'fake' or 'paid'.

They are not fake or paid. Gallup is a highly respected international organization that has done many, many surveys across Pakistan over the last several years. Just because you might not like the results doesn’t mean the survey is fake or paid for.

What you’re telling me about ‘interacting with common people’ is what is considered anecdotal - it is not a scientific poll that uses various parameters to minimize variables that might skew results. That’s why polls by respected organizations like Gallup are trusted more than twitter or Facebook polls.

But, again, 37% approval rating is not exactly great, so it’s not like he’s got massive support.

Lol..Shabaz corrupt had a 50% rating in last year of election...I think its PML-N sponsored survey so that Buzdar remain CM of Punjab..This men has done nothing ....Literally the worst CM punjab had faced in last 20 or 30 years..

What people should focus on is the gap between IK’s approval rating and that of the Chief Ministers in Punjab, KP, Balochistan. It’s a worrying trend, especially in Punjab, where the contest between PMLN & PTI will likely be very close again.

Still a lot of time left though, assuming the government completes 5 years. Approval rating will likely fall further as tough economic measures are taken and the average person feels the pain.
