G20 is coming! Have a look at the host city

. . . . .
南京城有点小没落了 在长三角一带,杭州感觉自从有了阿里巴巴集团 经济就不得了 哈哈
But Nanjing's transportation is way more developed, from subway to HSR.
Anyway, both are excellent megacities.
I would suggest next time when China holds G20, the chance should be given to any city in Western/Central China.

Andrew, why did you show my secret hiding place to the world? Now I am exposed!!!

Many thanks for sharing.. one of the jewels of Chinese cutlure.
lol, you are not the only one from Hangzhou here. :-)
This video about Hangzhou is the best on a city I have ever watched.
You are living at a amazing place.
Jogging everyday along the lake?

Just beautiful.

I was in Hangzhou, very beautiful, green and has the small town environment. Hangzhou has a different look as compared to any other Chinese cities, that look like concrete jungles. I took the high speed train from Shanghai to Hangzhou, my first experience on a bullet train. Qiandao Lake is simply out of the world.

Welcome to China:cheers:

I have fond memories of my Chinese trip especially my experience with the Chinese people. I like their hard working nature. Chinese are much calmer than Indians who are very boisterous.
I think Suzhou is more having the "feeling" you mentioned.
Hangzhou is a provincial capital city with nearly 10 million population.

We should learn from each other.

苏州工业比较发达 苏州工业园 出口和对外贸易
Suzhou industry is relatively developed
Export and foreign trade

I haven't been to Suzhou. Hangzhou railway station has more of an Indian feel. Whereas Shanghai railway station is almost like an airport. The town was quiet and I didn't know that 10 million people live there.
