Well then i can say most of the proud muslims of indian subcontinent today should realize their forefathers were all hindus , most of them converted to islam under the mughal rule just to escape persecution by those evil rulers , you should know your own history before talking about others.
Listen you fool, the centre of power during Muslim rule over so-called India was UP and Delhi both majority Hindu areas, if the Muslims wanted too they would have converted everyone but their is no compulsion in Islamic conversion, it STRICLTY has to be a personal choice, if the scenario you are trying to portray was true, then today you may not have been following Polytheism LOL.....BTW it was Naqashbandi saints who converted tribal leaders in mainly the Indus region, then subsequently the rest if the tribe followed in the way of the respected elder, we were prone to Monotheism as we were already following a crude form of Montheism.

Is that what they teach you in India?

Most people of the Indus Basin were mostly Buddhists or followed local religions before the arrival of Islam. The region had been rapidly shifting towards Islam far before Mughals. Kashmir for example became mostly Muslim under Gualba Rinchana, ruler of Kashmir who was a Buddhist that converted to Islam over 200 years before the Mughals even existed.

Our ancestors converted because of the efforts of Sufis, who's shrines dot the region. Almost every clan, village, town and etc... venerate the Sufi missionary(s) who were responsible for converting their ancestor(s).

islam was never forced on anyone, yes the land were forced into muslim dominion, but musli rulers couldnt care less about spreading islam, they occupied lands for economic reasons

malaysian and indonesian muslims had no islamic rule so there couldnt be any question of forced conversions

the conversions in indian subcontinent was very low compared to mass conversions of indonesia and malaysia

and the theory that dalits converted to islam to escape the lower caste of hindu religion then you assume the majority of hindu caste was upper caste, or the ruling caste/brahmin which is un natural, the lower caste or the subjects always outnumber the rulers by far, so why is that only a fraction of hindus mostly limited to pakistan in the west became muslims while smal pockets of muslims in the north and south?

reasoning is quite clear that nobody was forced to become muslim

christians who came from India came from Goa and certainly not the toilet cleaners as the OP
Stop trying to obfuscate and conflate rubbish. I know very well there are all sort of Christians in the world from blonde Norsk, to Black Jamaicans to Filipinos. The ones we get in Pakistan are either -

1. Anglo-Indians
2. Indian migrants of Dalit orgins who came with the British
3. Others.

The group we are trying to talk about as mentioned by OP are the [2] or the Christians who are clearly by their features from India. They look like your typical Odishans or tribals.

.
the christians in Pakistan come from Punjab region like muhammad yusuf, there arnt many christians in sindh, many christians identify themselves as Punjabi people, so to think they came from india is very falsified view
Yes Punjabi Christians identify themselves as Punjabis and speak Punjabi, but their origins are in South India and were brought in as servants by the British. Their is a reason why many of them are concentrated around cantonments or cities that hosted major British cantonments.

There were of course many Punjabi Hindus who had converted to Christianity during British rule, but i'd estimate them to make up less than 20% of the Punjabi Christian population.

the toilet cleaning christians are all those who were converted by christian missionaries, if you dont know the basic meaning of it, then you can search it, mother trissa was one of them

muhammad yusuf is a Punjabi who was also a chritian

underpriviliged Punjabis and other pakistanis were basically converted into chritians due to convent funding or whatever

the chritians were made in Punjab when poor punjabis sought missionary help and got converted in chritstianity in return

the only indian christians are goans like the ones i mentioned and are rather well off people nothing like toile cleaners, sweepers

They are the most ancient and indigenous people of Punjab.......

.
I believe it was Save Ghenda who is going by another name , as for the origins of the word Mussali or Marasi, I have no idea bro.Kudos
Mirasi is name given to singers in villages of Punjab lol
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirasi

They are actually chura/bhnagi whose traditional occupation have been sweeping and cleaning. Most churas in Indian Punjab are follower of sikhism while majority in Pakistan are Christians

People from chura caste were converted into Christianity from the Mazhabi Sikh communities of Punjab and to a lesser extent Hindu Churas in large numbers during british Raj under the influence of Christian missionaries and british Army. They are now divided between Pakistani Punjab and Indian Punjab after partition

.
Mainly ex-Hindus converted by Victorian era missionaries.
Also the illegitimate kids of White wifes of British raj officers who had hanky panky with locals. All those kids were removed from biological mothers and raised by christian missionaries.
Then also convert from Hospitals run by Christian missionaries and Church run Christianity preaching campaigns. In Pakistan Christians are allowed to preach.

They are the most ancient and indigenous people of Punjab.......
Just to let you know that Mardan as plety of those converted Pushtoon Christians. You have to turn everything into Pushtoon vs Punjbi?

Thanks. That was you then that I read this "Marasi/Msasali" terms. What do they mean/etymology?

I think one of those, 'Marasi', is a blurred recollection of 'Madrasi', the name that every north Indian (you wouldn't like to read the dreadful expression 'north south Asian', would you?) used for people living south of the Vindhyas. No idea where the Mussalis might have come from.

This is not an ethnographically rich thread. Do not read it while drinking coffee, shaving or things like that.
