I think there is one more reason- revenge. If they get any one piece to become independent- Kashmir or Khalistan, then it becomes a precedent for the rest of the states to declare independent in one excuse or the other. That gives revenge for Pakistan. Well people have underestimated the powerful unity India has, and people also underestimate the extent to which we will go to crush such separatism.

Rubbish claim? Which claim of mine is rubbish? Maybe in Hindutva nurseries they only teach about the displaced Hindu Kashmiris, but the Kashmiri Muslims in larger numbers were forced out by Sikhs and Hindus.

I have never supported terrorism. Neither in Kashmir, India or Pakistan. So take this baggage of terrorism supporting somewhere else. I know as a person of partially Kashmiri descent, I do not want my homeland (Yes, Kashmir is more my homeland than 99% of Indians) to be part of India. LOC is a stalemate. Not the end of discussion. As long as India continues to ignore the reality and the voice of the majority of Kashmiris, there will never be peace in Kashmir valley.
