F-16s will be highly unlikely, as IAF is more tilted towards Gripen for single engined aircraft. And moreover, F-16s failed in few parameters including the high altitude landing test, which Gripen succeeded.

Yes we do, any doubt ??? That's why aviation companies from U.S, France, Russia etc. all are dying to built their production facilities in India even without any request for our government. They are coming with different proposals day-in and out, lol.

I knew you will come up with this Mig 21 crap, that's all what you can do. If we can reach mars in a single try without any issues, Rafale is just a piece of cake, here I'm talking about India of 21st century, not an India in early 1960's 70's or even 90's. True, but we are not like some of our neighbors who doesn't even fail a single time during trials and induct everything straight from their factories.

Moreover M777 has a past history of barral blast, but not because India's manufactured them. LOL

M-777 used Iraq Killed 2 US soldiers and injured 5 when the gun malfunctioned and the shell exploded. U.S. army is still investigating the matter and has ordered and the inquiry report it was not the first case of M-777 exploding.

In 2011 Ten military personnel belonging to U.S. Marines were injured when an artillery cannon exploded at Fort Bragg. M-777A2 had suffered another Barrel Burst.

In 2014 One Solider from elite airborne infantry division of the United States Army was killed and another injured during artillery live-fire training involving M777 light, towed howitzer.

In 2014 again M777 exploded and Three soldiers belonging to Australian Army were injured.
