'Free Sarabjit to bring India, Pakistan closer'

I think the most positive effect on India-Pakistan relations would be for Pakistan to dispatch that birdbrain Hafiz Sayeed to India with Dawood Abraham thrown in for good measure - like take one and get one free! :cheesy:

like it or not, you can wish whatever you want, but its for us and only us for decide

If he is a terrorist why haven't you hanged him in last 2 decades. Oh sorry, you haven't hanged a single one in last 1 decade too.

well as you said

Take it or leave it.

@darkinsky  I am happy he is alive. I take it with warm heart.

Truth about this whole thing is that India has been trolling Pakistan. We released Kashmir Singh, he went across border and boasted that he really was a RAW operative, we released that other Singh. As soon as he reached the border he too boasted that he was a RAW operative. In both these cases Indians were harping the same tune, mistaken identity this and that.

This man should be hanged, he has been declared guilty by supreme court. Supreme court will do well to call his lawyer too who is milking Indians on the book.

Here is the confession of first mistaken identity, baichara bachoun ka baap, Kashmir Singh > http://articles.timesofindia.indiat...kistani-jails-pakistani-prisons-kashmir-singh

Here is the confession of second mistaken identity, baichara bachoun ka baap, Surjeet Singh

Here is the confession of first mistaken identity, baichara bachoun ka baap, Kashmir Singh > I was an Indian spy, admits Kashmir Singh - Times Of India

 They trolled you. You kept them for years and they hit you back by uttering five words, "I am a RAW Operative". That's called Emotional Atyachaar.

Also you are questioning your own agencies who couldn't get this out to say I was a RAW operative. See his dedication. He didn't give up his country if you believe he was a RAW operative. :D

Save it, we heard it on Kashmir Singh and Surjeet Singh. Ain't happening this time buddy.

Are you refuting the fact that the prime witness on record has discredited his testimony in the case ....

free him, Can we pay blood money .... seems legit in pakistan after Mr davis's episode.

Did USA paid any blood money for Bhopal incident? Warren Anderson and about 3500 hundred dead :coffee:

So Warren Anderson didn't even pay blood money, nice :coffee:

If Government of Pakistan wants to free the new Singh they should gather the families of victims, fulfill their demands (most will revolve around Govt job, residential property) then hand over the spy. I atleast have no problem with this.

So according to you, innocent men have been put behind bars for decades and as soon as they get free and meet theor family first thing they claim is that they really were spys. Ok.

so you all say that sarabjeet singh is not a spy than see this
Hours after being released from Kot Lakhpat Jail in Pakistan's Lahore, Surjeet Singh stepped on the Indian soil after over three decades as he returned to his country crossing the Wagah border.
Welcomed by his relatives and well-wishers amidst tight security, a happy Surjeet said he would meet his grandchildren and that would be the happiest moment of his life.
In his brief media address, the 69-year-old man was all praise for Pakistan jail authorities saying Indian prisoners were comfortable there.
Surjeet even defended Pakistani authorities in their flip-flop on another Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh's release, saying both the names resembled to some extent.
"We used to talk about our families though it is prohibited. He is in a separate barrack where sentenced prisoners are kept... I will meet the ministers for his release," he said.

Policemen escorted Singh as he was taken to the Wagah land border crossing in a van to be handed over to Indian authorities, an official said.
Footage on television showed a police van carrying Singh leaving the jail.
Indian officials said a team present at Wagah to receive over 300 fishermen being repatriated on Thursday take care of formalities for Singh's release.
Awais Sheikh, the counsel for Singh, told the media on Wednesday that the Indian national was arrested by Pakistani police on charges of spying during the regime of military ruler Zia-ul-Haq.
He has spent at least 27 years in Pakistani jails.
Singh was given the death sentence under the Pakistan Army Act in 1985.
The death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment in 1989 by then President Ghulam Ishaq Khan.
Sources said Singh had held meetings with other prisoners in Kot Lakhpat Jail yesterday to bid them farewell.
He requested the authorities to serve him 'sewai' to celebrate his impending release.
Hours after reports emerged on Tuesday that Pakistan was to free Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh, the presidential spokesman clarified that authorities had actually ordered the release of Surjeet Singh.

surjeet singh admitted that he was a spy and also said that sarabjeet singh has becomed muslim
