MIRAMSHAH: Four soldiers were martyred in a clash with terrorists in the Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday, officials said.

Seven terrorists were killed in the fighting.

According to officials, security personnel were patrolling the Tootnarai area of Dattakhel when they came under attack from the terrorists. In the ensuing clash, seven terrorists were killed.

Four soldiers embraced martyrdom, they added. The bodies of the personnel were taken to a hospital in the Dosali area.

The security forces cordoned off the area following the clash and began a search operation to find the perpetrators of the attack.

Its a border area which Obama called most dangerous place in the world , also called as Pentagon of TTP . We started operation here in June 2014 , last of all operations in Tribal districts so expect intense IBOs n clashes for 1 or 2 more years . N Waziristan has large population plus difficult terrain . Why give PTM what they want ??? we are frustrating PTM n they are exposing themselves day by day and u forgot Judiciary . Its not Plain area . Pakistan Armed forces are trying . Border areas are always difficult to control esp with countries like Afg and Iran. I think u never went to N Waziristan but commenting here . Counter terrorism operations are no joke as well esp when population is large .
