Yes that is exactly what i meant....now the forum looks like some of the new sites that have cropped up with only a dozen members.
You can't even make out the usernames of other members.

Also i cant find the "new threads" option. Everytime i am typing something and there is a new post, the whole window goes weird and i have to scroll back down to the comment. This is a mess. Its also really annoying with the shortcut tab at the bottom.

I HATE forums with default white layouts. It hurts my eyes and makes everything unreadable.

The back ground should be plain. Colour contrast should be so people can read easily. Like Black on white. Otherwise it needs just time when we get familiarise with it.

Airforces monthly was a brilliant forum that we all used to go to. They got some millennials to design a new forum, and that forum died a horrible death because it became totally unuseable. The same applies to Pakdef, where the forum upgrade was one of the nails in that coffin of that site...

Looks like those same millennials with blah blah lattes, have found defence.pk and, well hacked it to death .. sigh..

I agree with the principle of upgrading to the latest version to get all of the new features, and security fixes, but the style guide and the usability of the forum has taken a step back. I dont know what, how to can get back to that previous style guide as it was very useable and logically structured. The new one is not.

Sigh to ... " so called progress..."

Personal Issues List
1- Shoutbox is missing, so difficult to see if a topic goes crazy and everyone is discussing now.
2 - Difficult to find previous posts.
3 - Forum feels more laggy, all the "eye candy" is imposing a cost which takes away from the main purpose of this forum.. ie to discuss..
