PESHAWAR: Security forces on Sunday seized 40 suicide vests at the Torkham border which were being smuggled into Pakistan from Afghanistan.

Official sources said the suicide jackets did not contain any explosives, but were being transported to Pakistan with the intention of being used for suicide missions.

The sources said that this was going to be done with the aid of local operators who were to fill the jackets with explosives.

The officials said that the Khasadar force personnel have also arrested an Afghan national who was smuggling the jackets into Pakistan.

The accused has been shifted to Landikotal jail where authorities are further investigating the matter.

Some sources say that the accused might have been a spy tasked with the shipment but there is no official confirmation about this information.

it is clear that the bad habits from the Soviet time of Communist Afghan regime dont go that easy. Northern Alliance consists of some very vile fascists like General Dostum who have their own tales of savagery as the Taliban.
northern Alliance has never tried to hide its hostility towards Pakistan and in its drive it has not only made the lives of Pashtons difficult living on either side of the border but has also killed them and engaged Pakistani troops on many occasions and have refused direct requests from Pakistan to help regarding TTP.

back in the days of Soviet occupation, the Afghan communist regime used its Khad agency to plot terrorist attacks and assassinations
Hammer group , use of toy bombs and and bombing public places was one of the many things they did.
the Northern alliance consists of many ex-communist leaders who are warlords and have special hatred for Pakistan which they never tried to hide. with the over Indian cooperation their activities will intensify.

in case anyone has any innocent doubt then the 2 incidents are a proof when Americans caught the Afghan intelligence hosting the TTP terrorists,. in one of such incidents the Americans snatched away the TTP courier and his interrogation helped in taking out TTP leader Hakim Ullah Mehsood.

as the Americans will reduce their footprint in Afghanistan and Northern Alliance will look towards India to strengthen their hold on Kabul, it is inevitable that Pakistan's Western borders will become more active with BLA, and TTP terrorism and Northern Alliance firing on Pakistani troops and tribes.

Northern Alliance by its very name deosnt really care about that part of Afghanistan because the victims will be Pashtons on either side of the border.

it is no time to complain and protest and counteractive plans should be put in place to foil the threats from Northern alliance terrorism because the bunch of drug dealers and warlords that make up Northern Alliance have made it clear that they will harm Pakistan as much as they can by hosting and supporting all elements and entities that are hostile towards Pakistan.
